Fingerprints were for FBI report, so I guess it's for USA PCC.

& FFS, would you stop using that ridiculous background color (glow). It is painful to read what you write using that colors.

Thanks a lot.

The highlight was not to make it difficult for people to read. Will keep that in mind, Thanks again

In one of the replies on this forum, I saw people mentioning of sending finger prints with the PCC?

I have no clue about it, so wanted to know, is it a new requirement?

As far as I understand - people need to send fingerprints to the relevant authorities in order to acquire the PCC itself.

Fingerprints are not to be sent to CIC.

thanks so much Century for your valuable advice,

pls can you help me out to some more queries..

1. My IELTS Score is more than 2 years old (exacly Sep-2011), so will it be valid for FSW 2014 application or I need to take IELTS again??
2. I have also cleared french exams DELF A1 and DELF A2 in 2012... Will I get any points for this exams for second official language proficiency(as TEF is mentioned on cic page)
3. Is ECA also required for dependent member in FSW application??

Thanking you in advance :) :) :)

1) It has already expired on Sep'13. So, yea you will have to re-take IELTS.
2) Wait for someone else to reply, as I'm not sure which French exam they accept.
3) Nope, only for the primary applicant.

Hi,
My application was received on 05 June. I am travelling a lot so my current passport's pages are about to finish & I need to issue a new one, apparently with new number. My details will be the same, but the number will be changed.

Would that be a problem for my application? Should I inform CIC about this change & how?

What are your recommendations for such a case?

Thanks

Oh. So what you are asking is where to obtain it from and not which address to mention in the PCC ?

I think it does not matter if you obtain it from your current address but its recommended to obtain it from your permanent address. Anyway - you have time in hand I believe since your app has already been submitted. So i think - 1 month should be okay ?

Hi nishesh3003,

Not exactly where to get it from in fact my question is that when I fill form of PCC it asks me for current address and permanent address and there is option to tick both as same.. Now in my PP I have my permanent address by I currently reside at different address (sent same in background application form too).

So confusion is should I use the permanent address only or both. In case I say my current address in application then PSK will go through police verification process and this whole process will take around 2 months to get PCC.

In India, if your passport is old without biometrics, then they take finger prints for PCC. If it is as per new scheme has biometrics already, then you get your PCC in straight two hours and they don't take finger prints.

You don't need to send you biometrics to CIC. They will capture at port of entry.

1.You will need to take another IELTS exam as your current TRF is no more valid after 2 years.
2.I like to always keep silent on this second language as different people have different meaning for it.Personally,I feel it doesnt refer to French test.It only refer to IELTS also if your first language is IELTS.Personally,my interpretation of second language is that you will get addition 4 points if you score CLB5 and above in all four test.....like i say...opinion differs....Seems to me that the French test needed is TEF test
3.Only the primary/principal applicant is required to do ECA evaluation.

Cheers.

Hello All,

Today British council refused to give me another original copy from the IELTS, what shall I do?

Shall I write to them a letter asking for a copy and the justifications?

Thank you

I would suggest going directly to the police commissioners office in your district instead of PSK as if your current & permanent addresses are different, PSK does police verification at both addresses & that takes too long. But if you directly go to commissioner office of your current address city, then you can expediate the process & get it within a week as then verification will be only done at your current address.

Will I get any points for this exams for second official language proficiency(as TEF is mentioned on cic page): Pls go through http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp ; have no idea on French language. But note that "Your test results must be less than two years old when you apply".
3. Is ECA also required for dependent member in FSW application?? NO

Write a letter to their head office in country where you took the test explaining your requirement. Also enclose your communication with CIO to prove that you have applied for Canada immigration.
cheers
