I got to see CIC updated today for 2171 at 28, I am applying for 2171

I haven't sent my application yet. Thinking to send it in 3 4 days.

Please check I am missing something:

1. All forms filled and few left which are not relevant
2. Original IELTS scorecard
3. original WES assesment
4. PCC NOT DONE will give it later
5. Job Letter : I got it from My supervisor, got his signature on it and his ID card photocopy with his signature. Because my company was not ready to provide me job duties on letter head. As per the guidance in forum one affidavit I need to submit saying about this letter, Would that affidavit should be done from court, I mean on those stamp papers (From Notary) ???????
6. On company letter head: Salary, full time working status, time period and appointment letter, salary revision, payslips
7. Form 16 from the beginning and ITR from the beginnning
8. Birth certificate copy
9. Passport copies : HOW Many we need to give
10. Photographs : HOW Many we need to give

Tell me if I am missing anything and if I am giving DD how to get it done, I mean address and all, I have not done it before. I heard credit card might give some problem paying fees to CIC

Also regarding the intended state to be selected in CANADA, in one form, Willl it make any difference in processing of my application. I selected Toronto, ON, Canada...some of my frnds said application gets much delayed as evryone is applying for same state....so should I think of applying some other state like Montreal n all....

You have missed Proof of funds. Also don't forget education certificates and transcripts to support ECA. You cannot mention Montreal in your generic form, because it is in Quebec and FSW does not apply.
You can make self affidavit on minimum value stamp paper and get it notarized.
You need six photographs for each person in application.
and finally read the Guide 7000 and document checklist IMM5612 carefully, it will answer all the questions.

I did same that last year but I failed... I forgot to send the additional Family application for my spouse and hence, I sent it after that with covering letter and I mentioned that on the envelope also, They returned the additional document immediately and refused to include it to my file
Therefore, I believe the best way to resend another COMPLETE application. Good Luck

Did you use the UCI # or you had a UCI number at that time? i think that would be a reason they sent it back.
I got an a reply saying one person from 2013 has sent the missing doc in another package and the application was processed. The application was process on the stamped date on the additional package but not of the original package.

Hi Guys,
Will I be able to track my application status with my 2008 Student Visa UCI. This UCI is 10 digits and start with S0, whereas new UCIs are 8 numbers.

I registered . Webinar is going to be happened on 16th July 4pm to 5pm IST.
they asked some questions during the registration.

Dont be sad its fine as everybody said good you got them back soon now u can send them back and certainly you will be in cap hope of rhte best.

I am into similar situation i sent ECA but a photocopy rather original but i did have the transcripts attached along with it. the problem i am preparing a new package with new copy of IELTS and stuff.

Also i would like to remind this is the time to amend anything u want to just check or pm me if you need help.

I had 3 Canada touristic visa within last 6 years and also I had applied fsw last year and due to to CAP, my application returned back.
As per the information that I read in the forum there should have UCI number on my returned application package (on the forms) however there was nothing.
In order to check my application status on ECAS, I checked my previous visas to see if there is any 8 digit number which were same (everybody says the UCI number will be unique forever) but there were 3 different numbers on my visas.

I tried to check my application status on ECAS link several times with them but everytime it was UNsuccessfull. So I was waiting for the PER email to see my UCI number.

Today I tried again with 8 digit number (without any"-", from my last visa, got it 2 years ago) and noticed that my application status is IN PROCESS. I belive ( I hope), my PER is on the way (not yet received).

I hope everyone on this forum see the same info as soon as possible and feel the same as I felt.

I just wanted to share this info.

If it that number consisted with 8 digit numerical number than u should use that UCI number....
