10 years in US ? You should be a citizen of US by now having same benefits as others ?
Could you give more clarity please ?

You would think! But we just pay taxes (even social security and medicare that only citizens are eligible for) as everybody else and get no benefits in return. We started out as students, so the 10 years. But even if you started out on a work visa, it is about 6 years till they (your employer) sponsor your green card. One can't apply for greencard oneself (except in rare cases like if you are a famous singer, actor, scientist etc). Depending on country of origin, it can be 2-15 years just to get a greencard after applying. And then another 5 years to apply for a citizenship. So pretty much it's a wait, wait, and wait forever game all the while your status depends on your employer. Ironically the easiest and faster route to a US green card is winning the dv lottery! and of course not all of us are lucky.

Oh, and even to get a work visa, there now is a lottery because of their stupid quota that was set in the 90s. So, even if you have a job offer or are already working for an employer that wants to sponsor your work visa, you need to win the lottery to be able to do so. Very democratic :

Please use ur current job title in every case (12-a,12b)....

And also as it is a debating issue- u can calulate points for ur primary NOC....

In 12a I wrote electronics engineering NOC 2133 as primary occupation but in 12b I wrote my current occupation as Product development engineer NOC 2133. My main duties and job description as Product Development Engineer directly match almost all of those specified in NOC 211 for electronic engineers 2133.

Are they going to return my application for not paying attention to details?

In in case they will, can I resubmit my application with only a photocopy of my IELTS since the original is still with CIC?

Question is:^::..Is masters really required for lecturer in engineering college affialiated to recognized university......

Few say it is not......and many say it is required ...

One of friend from this forum says it is not qualification requirement ...it is employment requirements....

Apparently they are busy processing applications hence no updates. Patience is the name of the game my friend.

If they had said 'if you have lived for more than 6 moths', it would be seen as consecutive.

But they wrote, 'if you have lived for more than 6 months in the last 5 years', that must mean aggregate, or cumulative. Like they have 2 out of 5 year rule for PR.
