I had the same question when I sent my package. Well, the CIC, as far as I remember, does not ask for credentials to be sent, as long as you include WES report. So technically speaking you are fine. But then most people, including me, have send their education credential. These are very basic documents, and something readily available.

If you haven't send it, dont worry too much. I would ask other senior boarders to also shed some light on your case. I feel, application sent on 14 may are atleast 2 weeks away from being picked up for review. So, If CIC had a way by which you can add missing documents to your application sent earlier, by all means - you should send them their way.

Proof of education credentials (copies only ) , along with the original ECA is a must.

The visa office in native country...for eg. for Indian applicants the visa office is New Delhi VO...is that a India office...or some thing under Canadian embassy office.....??

This is very wrong. The checklist clearly says that education certificates are NECESSARY. Also, we have already seen a few rejections due to this issue.

I saw another comment that said, you can add it later after the CC is charged. If that was possible - then someone who knows how exactly that can be done - can come and post here.

My application was reached on 14th may. I just came to know that i have not attached my degree certificate, but i attached origional WES report. What now. Should i courier degree certificate now seperately? If yes then how? Or my application straight away will be rejected? Please help i am very much tensed now.

Hi,

Your application package is incomplete without the proof of educational credentials.

If you have an UCI number from a previous application you can try your luck by sending additional documents with a cover letter.

If you don't have an UCI number , you can still try your luck. You have worked so hard to prepare your application , so give it a try . Who knows you might just get lucky!

I am a FSW applicant from China and the visa office for me could be Beijing or Hongkong.
But I didn't fill in IMM 0008 table "4 Immigration Office requested for processing this application". And I want my application to be processed by Hongkong visa office.

Hi,

If you have sent your application already at this stage there is nothing you can do.

If my memory serves me correct, some one posted he did not mention his visa office on the form and he received PER mail.

There have also been some cases where applications have been rejected for having a wrong office or no office mentioned. So I guess it's a case by case basis depending on the case officer. Good luck to you.

Because the processing time of Beijing visa office is so long, about 22 months; while the time of Hongkong is 8 months.

Rejected outright due to incomplete application.

Anyone can help me with my work experience proofs? Since 2005 I work in NOC 2281, but between mid-2010 and mid-2012 I worked in NOC 0111. The thing is, my experience is something like that:

A: Aug 2005 - Oct 2006: Paid trainee 30h/w NOC 2281
B: Jan 2007 - Jan 2009: Paid scholarship 20 or 30h/w (I don't remember, but already asked to my employer in the reference letter) NOC 2281
C: Jan 2009 - Sep 2009: Paid Job 36h/w NOC 2281
D: Sep 2009 - Jun 2010: Paid Job 44h/w NOC 2281
E: Jul 2010 - Sep 2011: Non registered work in same as company F, but they delayed to do a formal hire... I can get a letter from them, but nothing was registered.
F: Oct 2011 - Aug 2012: Paid Job 44h/w NOC 0111
G: Sep 2012 - present: Paid Job 44h/w NOC 2281

Long story short, I need to know which companies and how many years can I put in my work experience form? Please, I'm almost desperate about that...

P.S.: Yesterday I got my new IELTS results, and just 0.5 in Writing to get CLB 8 (got 7.5L 6.5R 6W 6.5S)... =(

I am aware that this must have been asked and answered multiple times in this forum, but Just want to be doubly sure for my individual case hence asking this:

We are family of 3 including me, my wife and my 4 year old son...considering the same below is my application package:

• Generic Form IMM 0008 – Filled by me as Principal Applicant
• Additional family IMM 5406 – One copy for myself & One for my Wife
• Schedule 3 Economic Classes – For myself
• Schedule A Background Information – Both for myself and my wife
• Additional Travel Information form – for myself
• Payment form –
• Document Checklist
• ECA Report along with Educational documents copy
• IELTS report for myself
• Job Responsibility letters from my employers
• Passport copy for all, myself, my wife and kid
• 6 Photos each of all members of the family
• Settlement fund proof


Request you all to please confirm, if the above is sufficient and I have not missed on any important document/form

1. Write on the back of 5 photographs what is required to be written as per the document checklist.
2. Include original ECA report
3. Include Birth certificates and marriage certificate
4. Police clearance certificates if available. ( This can be provided later if not in hand now)

Do you know your UCI number?? If you have applied to Canada before then you must be having your UCI.

If you do, then its not too late bro, then you can courier degree copies asap mentioning your UCI. It may get attached to your file before it goes to officer for review.

they asked about copies of some documents and i think all of you guys send to them the document so

when i senting a copy does i am only send a photocopy or after it , it is a must to certify the photocopy
because if i have to certiy it , it will be more easy to just send the original one

No I don't think any information can be included to your application at any stage of processing through e-mail.
