Hi Ashif_eee,

My application was received on 5 May 1:18 pm. NOC 2174. My CC got charged on 29 May.

But, I have not received the PER as yet. I can see couple of people whose file was received on 5 May and CC charge on 29 May, they got the PER.

I have 10 years of experience (1.5 + 1.5 + 6 + 1). I sent the reference letters for all my companies. All of them are on the company letterhead and it has my duties and responsibilities, duration, designation, full-time (40 hours per week). But, my 2nd company (1.5 years) and 3rd company (6 years) reference letter does not have my salary information. I have the appointment letters for all my companies but I forgot to send them along. The appointment letter have the salary information.

Is this the reason of my PER getting delayed? Because, my reference letters does not have the salary information. So, my reference letter will be regarded as incomplete? Will my application get rejected? Can I do something now? Can I email CIC and send the scanned copy of my appointment letters, experience letters and relieving letters? I have everything with me.

My education + ielts + age = 56 points.

What should I do? I am so tensed. The thought of my application get rejected is killing me. Please help me out.

Guys! I need some guidance. I applied under NOC1112 on June 9th,2014. Payment was through the foreign demand draft. Will the payment be deducted immediately or just like the CC after the review?

Secondly, any idea keeping the trend in view that will I be able to make it to the cap this time as I feel my application is late.

Lastly, any idea how the VO is assessing the applications and because a cap of 43 for NOC1112 till date is nothing and this cant be possible. By the way I got a chance to get some idea of cap time from some reliable source and it seems it will be filled in the last week of May, 2014.

It will be deducted just like CC that is after checking the completeness of your application.

None actually know when the cap will be filled up. Only CIC could know it if they keep a register and update it everyday about how many applications they are receiving and against each NOCs - and we don't know whether CIC maintain such a register at all.

However, as you get information from reliable source, it could be true. We will definitely appreciate you if you pls tell us the source.

What is the 'Affix sufficient postage' thing on the Right corner of sample envelope given on the CIC website?. Do we need to do that or would the courier company take care of that..?

But i send them my bachelor degree too,

My question does CIC/VO will ask my bachelor degree credential too or Master is enough,

If your master's is evaluated as equal to Canadian Masters

No need to worry abt anything, you will get 23 marks for education. That's the only use of ECA.

However, in your application you need to send both bachelors & master's degree docs (its independent of ECA).

I have read somewhere that VO can be changed after paying a fee of CAD$100, if u meet the condition of having 1 yr valid visa new country.

Regaring, passport courier, not all countries allow it, so you have to check it for Canada and your home country. However, you can send it through a friend/relative (but i will suggest discuss it with a canadian lawyer before any such activity if you don't have any option)

As its a quite day on the forum(relatively), let me bug you with another query (although i know NO has definite answer to it)

In your opinion, whats the reason for very few CC charging over last 15 days, especially last week. Was similar pattern being observed last year, with sudden surge in CC charging and then long dry spell. The reason, i am asking it is that i think CIC novascotia has been given additional responsibilities to streamline & expedite the process. e.g. checking relevance of work experience as we have seen few applications being rejected by CIC for this reason. My understanding is that last year, this thing was being checked by VO or were their similar rejections at CIC stage during last year?

The additional responsibilities might be given to ensure higher %age of successful candidates from accepted application. Additionally, CIC novascotia will have less backlog compared to VO, who have pending applications since 2010/2011.

Ur observation is right...I dont know/guess the actual reason why they take a time after the suddden surge...

But in my opinion Nova scotia is not handling more responsibilities...I believe They use a software to match the NOC experiences...That is used on both CIC NS and local VOs...By which they can easily scrutinize the applicants with the respective NOCs...and they refuse those applicants with the less/zero matching wor exp.


Its not tht much hard...This type of software are used by many university / institution to check the duplicate statement of purpose (SOP)/ recommendation letters/ Thesis papers/publication papers....

I take it you would be sending the courier, as most other folks have done. In that case you are already paying the courier fee no just ignore that right corner thing. Good luck!

Would appreciate it if someone kept doing this at the end of every week, so we see how FSW14 is progressing. The only issue is actually putting this somewhere it is readily accessible to everyone visiting this thread so it doesn't get lost in all these pages. Oh, come to think of it, I know...
