why can't ... one can always drop the sealed envelope at CIO doorstep. After all the courier guy who delivers it for you is also human !

The Only diff is that a courier guy will reach CIO as per his (sweet / scheduled) time, whereas an Indian guy would go (sleep) there mid night of 30th Apr- May 1.. and deliver the packet first thing when CIO opens the door.. then have his ta- tti - kulla @ nearby Sulabh complex :p ;D

Being Human !! 8)

LOL neel, that's funny! There are rules against just about anyone coming inside the CIC premises to enter their mail room where the package receipt stamping is done under watchful eyes of CIC officials. Only registered courier guys can come and drop the packages, not anyone and everyone. :)

This is the least to expect I am guessing.

All,

Need your suggestions. I am an Indian but currently working in London, UK for next 12+ months so am allowed to given London as VO.

Can I still give New Delhi as VO as London VO is slow.
If yes, what are the challenges I would be expected to face by giving New Delhi as VO.
(I understand I will have to post Medical and PCC to India, but what else)

Pls help.
.

LONDON VO WILL BE OK FOR YOU SINCE YOU ARE IN LONDON. GUESS THEY ARE FASTER ALSO

Now that CIC has finally modified their official cap update page, do you think the numbers there include all those with payment method charged or just those persons who have received PER. Trying to get an idea as to the accuracy of the spreadsheet and I'm unsure as to whether I should include both sets or only those with PER. It's safe to assume that once your payment method is charged, your application will count against the cap right?

Even when CIC announces the much anticipated CAP update it still causes a bit of confusion...I guess what this update simply tells us is the number of PERs sent out per NOC category and their total as of 6th June (forget the erroneous footer note...it mentions the correct date of 6th June for the PhD category).

It does not tell us till which date these successful applications was recieved. .it's not 4th May...6th June or any other date...so we are still in the dark regarding the current FSW 2014 applications backlog or which applications exactly are they at right now...we can only roughly guess based on this forum that they are still reviewing 7th May applicants but we can never be too sure as earlier applications as well are being processed it seems...

So bottom line: we have a tiny bit more official info from CIC and it does seem that we can afford to be optimistic especially for those who are yet to complete their applications and send them out ( guys put your skates on and go for it real quick if you are really serious bout immigrating to Canada). I guess this info also tells us that our own "database" of applications in this forum DOES represent a significant number of overall applicants...especially in certain NOCS

Good luck to everyone :)

On the foot note it says as of May 4 2013.
I think it means 2014. ;D

Footnotes
Footnote 1
The number of complete federal skilled worker applications received as of May 4, 2013 is an estimate.

I'm no expert. ..but I'm sure that for CIC to include an application in the CAP and count it...A PER must have been issued. Granted that a fee charge most probably means a PER eventually. .but I think they will only count official, done PERS denoting that the application is preliminary successful pending final approval by local VO plus admissibility

By the PERs for the NOC 3012 .. it seems this recent data is of single day processing or 1st May or it includes fraction of 2nd May.

But again its hard to predict exactly as this is not a real time data So to me it looks like the spreadsheet is anything between 5 % + to 10% at this moment ,,, this may shrink as the time pass so whatever number of 2174 people we have in spreadsheet just multiply by approximately 15 or 20 to get the real situation ..

I feel NOC 2174 and 1112 people of 9th May or some of 12th May are safe .. ( remember last time in 2013 , rise of updates was almost exponential for these NOCs )

Good luck to everyone ;D 8)

Hi Guys!

I ve sent my application a week ago, it is already in CIC - NOC 1111. I work in PwC, because of the bureaucracy of a big firm i could not receive a letter stating all of my responsibilities, but i have included a letter of circumstance, together with he contract and the letter confirming the period of employment. Do you think the fact that there was no letter from employer conforming responsibilities is vital, as pwC is well know worldwide.

If this is critical do you think the application will be returned or just they will ask to provide additional information?

Also, when CIC changes your credit card, does it mean they have started review, or what?

Looks like a credible observation if based on PER by looking 3012 alone... It is the single day processing I guess and it will surely increase sharply in the next days.. I am torn which statistical model will I use to interpolate the caps! LOL!
