hey, regarding proof of funds, initially we produced an FD of Rs. 10 Lakhs during our application. So at the port of entry, is it OK we show this FD as our proof of funds?

You need to have PoF in the form of CAD $$. So either you have to carry this as cash (not recommended) or a combination of cash, TC, Forex card, Canadian bank account

my wife is the primary applicant in our case. We have not yet received MR and she is expecting. Would it impact the processing of the application as in whenever MR comes would we be asked to put the medicals on hold untill the baby is born or we can go ahead with the medicals (except x-ray and)?
Please suggest.

Amit28, Your processing will be put on hold until the baby is born. Once baby is born you will need to add into your application and then it will proceed.

ECAS status should change to DECISION MADE ideally and then they send out the emails for PPR.
