Hi friends,

I am December applicant from India, received PER on 3 March. I stayed in UK for about 4 years in last 10 years.

-should i apply for UK PCC before MR only?
-I am from Punjab (India) and working in Bangalore (India) for about a year.
Should I apply for Indian PCC now or wait for MR?
Where can I apply for PCC? Bangalore or Punjab?

Quick replies will be highly appreciated.

Apply for pcc right now before mr.
Apply at the location where you have proper proofs of address and from where pcc can be obtained earlier.

Hi CanOI, Could you please advise me, I am waiting for MR since Oct-14 when I got my PER for the application received status on 19th June,14

I am running out patient, I have tried so many time to contact on 0016139444000 but no response, it gets transfer on auto response mode.

I have raised 2 CSE even written separate mail but no us.

everyday we are seeing applicants prior to your date who are getting medical requests. So your turn will also come soon. Don't worry.

I am the main applicant and got visa for myself, wife and my son.Is it acceptable if I visit Canada alone and apply for PR card for myself and my dependents on their behalf

you can very well visit Canada alone initially and your wife and kids can follow later on, but you cannot get their pr card initiated. Pr card gets initiated once a pr holder completes landing formalities. So their cards will be initiated only once they land.

Friday we received our COPR and Passports back from SPVO with Visa issued and we can finally celebrate!

We'll arrive in Toronto at April's end, so, good luck for all of us!

I am June 2014 applicant.
MR received in Dec. and 3rd line updated in Jan.15.

But till date i have not received mail for RPRF and PCC which one usually gets along with MR mail.

Is anybody in same situation or has someone passed from same situation.

please suggest.......

should i wait for RPRF and PCC request presuming that it will be accompanied along with PPR.

There are 3 things,

• Check your spam folders \ search for mails from DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca in your inbox.
• Request for GCMS notes for clarification. It will take a month
• Send a CSE to NDVO. Turn around time is 50 + days

Please update your forum profile. Without knowing your CURRENT app status, it's not possible to give an accurate answer.

It is most likely negative if you've not received RPRF and MR. And probably positive if you're done with MR.

The relax nature of your writing in query indicates that your MR is done and you know it's approval but you want someone on the forum to congratulate you and please you by telingl you that your visa is approved. Someone really concerned about their visa being refused would appear much tensed and serious in the tone of his/ her writing.

Honestly everyone in this formum is seeking the pleasure of getting re-assured that the decision outcome is positive including you.

Sooooooooooooooooooo happy now so can't even express myself!!!!
Feel little sad to leave Dubai since we lived here for almost 15 years, and had a good life. But very excited about our new destination and home land and sure that life there will be even better!!!! Everything is done for the future of our kids!!!!!

Guys .. can you please clarify me on questions related to POF while landing.

We are three and I have to show CAD 19000 as POF. My doubts are

1) First I am travelling to Canada alone without my family. Do I have to show total CAD 19000 or less ? If it is total CAD 19000, do I have to show POF again while my family (Spouse and Kid) land in Canada ?

2) I am planning to carry only CAD 5000 by cash while landing and rest CAD 14000 through Bank FD certificate in Indian rupees. Is this fine ? or do I have to show CAD 14000 also in Canadian dollars ?

I do believe you need to carry settlement funds of CAD 19K, when Principal applicant lands. It is not needed when spouse or dependent lands, later.

Furher, Fixed Deposits in Indian Currency equivalent to CAD 14,000 is not acceptable at the time of landing. You need to carry with you the funds (such as travellers cheques, demand drafts etc) which can easily be utilised in Canada to take care of your/your family stay, without recourse to your home country. These funds shall be equal to PoF mentioned by CIC against your family size. Of course, some banks have facility of transferring funds from India to your bank a/c in Canada. If this is in place, I believe it is OK..
