I have applied under NOC 0111.
App received: 1st Dec 2014
CC charge date: 24th Jan 2015
Still awaiting PER E-mail.
Could you please confirm if anyone matching my timeline has received PER email.

Yes ... not able to open downloaded spread sheet .. its saying "File corrupted"..

Usually, 10th pass certificate suffices, like in my case.
In my friends case oddly they didn't accept it and when sending MR, asked for an affidavit of the same.
So, regardless, there is nothing negative on the file processing. If they feel the needs they will ask you for additional docs.

ADVISE PLEASE...
Sent Affidavit and education documents in lieu of BIRTH CERTIFICATE..do u think its OK, it MAYBE OR its NOT OK.

nopes... still the same error .. "File Corrupted" .. may be spreadsheet is not able to withstand with this sudden storm from NDVO

Very rare but best not to discount if fully.
Could happen if -
- Field verifications were ongoing and have adverse remarks. (extremely rare)
- Your details some how convinced the VO that you are or have linkages with anti-social elements and pose a threat to the Sovereignty of the country. ( I am sure you won't, none of us would ;D)

Bottom line 0.01% chances of such situations to happen.

Stop thinking negative and wish/pray/hope to see your DM and PPR soon.

Do we face Negative decision after the medicals . I mean if the Police back grounds are clean then also can we get rejected aur negative decision from VO ???

Brother .. if you do not have Birth Certificate, then Affidavit and education document suffice.. no worries, there are many who has submitted Affidavit given by parents on behalf of birth certificate ...

One suggestion though .. its always better to have Birth Certificate .. so better apply for it as soon as you can before you move to Canada..

Thanks for reply buddy , the uncertainty whether we will get the Visa or Not is hampering future plans like job change and investments in India ... I am weighing the chances and thanks for the nice words

Here is something strange that has happened on my e-CAS. I was able to login since the issuance of PER using my full name in the Surname/Family Name field.

It looked strange that I was unable to access the tool since this morning using the same details that I used to key in to check the status.

[size=10pt]After multiple trials, I have found that now the tool requires only my firstname in the surname field which is quite weird. Why would that change now? Is this common among many others using the tool?[/size]

Anyways, with the changed credentials and by God's Blessings, I now see a second line update on my file.

Here are my timelines:

App Received Date: 20-Aug-2014
PER Received Date: 09-Dec-2014
Second line added: 25-Feb-2014
Started Processing: 17-Feb-2014

[size=10pt]Anybody experiencing issues on eCAS tool after your PER, try the multiple combinations of your name on the surname/family name field. Atleast that did the trick for me.[/size]

I might recieve my MR request anytime...i will have to submit my PCC and my husband's PCC bcos i didn't submit with my application

How can i apply for the same. They need a letter or any supporting document while applying for it online. Also my husband will have to submit for NZ as well since he was there.

Please advise how can we do that
