Lets see how long I need to wait until I hear about MR

I have a daughter who is 6+ and son who is less than a year ?

as it is obvious that VOs are working more on the hot NOCs than others, thats what i think is the delay all for

Unfortunately, never saw it on any CIC page officially but here is what one of the forumites shared and I would believe that how one VO issues PPR validity should be pretty much the standard across the board.

Got PPR from Los Angeles

I'm grateful to you all for your help in getting me the PR visa. I wanted to point out how long it takes to get the visa stamped in the US i.e. add a month after getting PPR. (for Indians who cannot send their passport to Canada.)

• PPR from CPC-O: Jan 8 (I Immediately responded to print visa in the US)
• PPR from Los Angeles: Jan 30
• Passport Received by LA: Feb 3
• Passport Sent/Mailed from LA: Feb 12
• Passport Received: Feb 14

How long is the visa valid?

Until I got my visa, I had always wondered how long would it be valid for. It seems to be that a few days longer than 1 year from the date you completed the Medical. (Ensure that your passport is valid for at least a year and a half after the date of your Medical.)

• Medical Completed: Nov 5, 2014
• eMedical Entry/File Completed: Nov 13, 2014
• Medical Updated in ECAS: Nov 24, 2014
• Visa Valid up to: Nov 20, 2015

Is this norm mentioned anywhere ? I mean 1 months from MR recd Ideally is not logical...as we don't know that how much time will be left for the entire process to get over after MR ??

My first line was updated on Nov 6th

Second line on January 6th

received medicals on January 14th

So there is nothing like 60 days rule...it depends on application to application...inshort there is nothing to worry about...everything will come timely..all the best

for point 1, it's before. checks happen post line 2.

for point 2, mostly MR means you are through the checks but there are cases where people have been called for interviews after MR, so nothing is crystal clear on that front.

Second line could take 90 to 120 days. So be patient, you will eventually see the update.

UCI is your identification number for all future connects with CIC. It won't change.
Application number is specific to the request and will change with the next application you will request with CIC.

What is a difference between UCI and Application ID ?

hELLO BUDDIES,

Im from Bangladesh. Im applying fro FSWP under university lecturer NOC. I launched my application on 18th December & from DHL i know the percel received on 22nd December. But till now there are no received letter from CIC. It's been 2 months..... really worried about it .....What should i do?

Anyone from BANGLADESH send the application on near about date of mine??? Received any acceptance letter???

You have the magic noc. You should be pretty close to your PPR. I see no impact if you not sharing this development, specially as she is not the primary.

Fortunately or unfortunately, that's the norm. You can check with anyone who has got visa signed and stamped.
