I m 7th Aug applicant lvo per 28nov.
I applied from uae. Just now I received a strange call asking me and my husband specifics. She knew alot of data which is not revealed to any one. She went further to ask abt my marketing experience .. noc under which I applied.... she confirmed info abt my family particulars.
the call was from Saudi number. She said she was calling from osn saudi to confirm customer habits. But she had information abt me. Although our osn is under my husband name with no information abt me.
Can this be a background check from third party?

received medical request on feb 20 2015

What is ur years of experience..i guess CIC is picking people based on experience
so if u tel me it would be helpful to understand

CIC / Vo does not progress a file based on years of experience. In fact they do not favour 1 file over another per say

It is a complex process with the combinations of multiple factors. the factors to consider are

1: NOC- which NOC do you belong to - some NOC are more popular then others due to the demand in the local market etc
2: Background verification time- this will decide the time to MR
3: When did you submit the PCC with application or with MR. this will determine your Criminality check start time .
4: Security check time - generally starts after your PCC is received.
5: your VP- how fast is ur VO and how much load they have. SPVO is fastest where as NDVO is 6 in the speed rank (based on some of 2014 and 2013 stats)

Can someone know how vfs SMS service work who already use that?

did you receive all notification like passport send to cic, received at cic or returns from cic and ready for collection?

Or just get message that passports are ready for collection after stamping?

It's been almost 20 days since my second line updated, No MR yet, When will I get MR from NDVO?
Seems many got MR from NDVO with in 10-15 days after second line updated. What is the reason for the delay?

Very happy to Say Finally i got Decision Made in my ECAS........
I dont know how to express my feelings after 6 months of my MR i got this.....Thank you very much God.....

Thank you very much all your supports.......I cannot believe my eyes ...so much happy....i suppossed to raise ATIP...but before that i got this....

one question may be silly...Decision Made means +ve Answer only na.....In Ecas they mentioned as "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." Thats the reason, i asked this question

Hello Guys, yesterday 4th line has been updated in ECAS, waiting for PPR, hope will get soon.

Here is my timeline:
App Rcvd: May 07, 2014
PER Received: August 08, 2014
MR/PCC/RPRF Received: September 05, 2014
MR Done: September 27, 2014
India PCC, RPRF sent: October 09, 2014
FBI PCC sent: December 02, 2014 (First deadline was October 20, 2014 and extension was November 15, 2014)
Decision Made: February 23, 2015

I just sent out following documents to LVO:

- Original Police Clearance Certificates from for myself and my wife
- Copies of passport bio pages along with updated information chart / Copy of my new renewed passport
- Copies of Medical Exam fee payment receipt
- Copy of payment of Right to Permanent Residence fee receipt with my UCI and other details on the form

Approximately how long will it take for LVO to come back with some response or update 3rd line?

And approximately how long does LVO take to issue PPR after MR?
