My application was received Dec 29 (took 15 days to arrive as I was stupid enough to send it by Regular mail from USA).
Just read posts that applications received on that date are being cashed.

Waiting .. And waiting.. And waiting !!!

Hello Friends,

I really need help, i received email from AVO today requsting for more documents:
Bank statements showing salary statements from 2006 to 2008 with my previous employer and also bank statement showing salary payments from my current employer and also company registration number

The problem is i cannot provide these bank statements because i closed my account when i left my previous employer and also changed my job last year December where i told AVO and salary payment are usually done by cheque and most time do not show company name( thoough i have 2 bank statements that show salary payment)

I am planning to write them that i cannot provide these documents because i closed my account since

Please your advice will really be appreciated as i am so confused now and wonder why they are asking me all these documents

How many days does CIO need to reply for CSE ?

Each countries CSE page advises the expected TAT. It may vary.

When you take the ack print, fill your name UCI Address and other blank details with a pen and share further.

CC charged on 2 feb 2015. NOC 2172.. Its has been 16 days, no PER mail... When can I expect PER mail? Can I get UCI# before PER mail??

After a long waiting period....
I have one great news to share, that my application is "In Process" at CIC, after several days of waiting.
Just called CIC and a male attendent received my call and asked several questions including Place of birth, date of birth, country of residence, family name, email, given name, city of birth, mobile number, and then only he informed me good news that your application is at the moment might be under Elgibility Review because status being shown is "In Process" and CIC will contact you shortly via Email. Strange thing here is that the attendent asked several questions which seemed to me very strange because as per the information shared on forum by the persons who called CIC they don't ask so many questions.

I requested the person (Male Attendent) to provide me my UCI number, but he said that I am sorry that we have been given clear instructions not to release this information over the phone. Hopefully I shall try again and may be this time a female attendent will attend the call and provide me UCI number.

Strange thing is that till yesterday my DD was still not encashed as per information provided by my bank.

I hope and pray that i shall receive my PER very soon, because "In Process" means "99.99% PER", as I have been advocating on the forum in my several replies and hopefully it will be the case for me.

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, we just received our application package back this evening...

NOC: 5125 - Translator

The reason for rejection was that they were not convinced I had at least 1 year of experience as a translator. Since, according to them, I didn't have enough proof included in the package, they evaluated the package as incomplete and returned it to me (they did not charge my CC). This is despite I had provided 9 reference letters, all including start of freelance collaboration, work experience in words-translated and in hours, and the amount of money they paid me. All of which adds up to 7 years of experience, calculated in hours as they require.

I would like to know what other translators (NOC 5215), especially those who proceeded to further stages, sent as proof of work experience.

Any help will be greatly appreciated since we are planning to apply again in Express Entry 2015.
