Can anyone of you advise on the following:

I am with my current employer for 2 years and 3 months now. During this period I have worked in two positions for the same company:

1: Regional IT Business Systems Specialist for 1 year and 8 months
2: Country IT Business Systems Specialist for 7 months

As the names suggest, both roles have similar responsibilities, I just extended my scope a bit. The criteria for work experience says that each full-time job with one year plus experience will be considered for points in the experience part.

Hence,my question: Will they consider the experience that I gathered from my second job or not? If this cannot be said for sure, would you suggest me to ask my employer not to split between those two roles and simply state "IT Business System Specialist" with an experience of 2 years and 3 months?

Please advise.

Dear Brother,

if u are doing continuous job, then ofcourse CIC will consider it as 2 years and 3 months and u will get 11 point.

And U can show both of the position... In that case u can tell in ur Work ref letter as:

" He has maintained following responsibility for the both position: "

I faced same problem. Just download and install trail verion (30 days) of Acrobat Pro and you will be able to fill all forms without any issue

Facing two problems in form fill up

1. Can not save anything in Travel info form
2. background info form became write protected after filled up. So can not modify anything.

Any solution for this?

I was filling the forms and suddenly started getting above error. Now, I am unable to edit any of the form. I am using latest Adobe Reader 11 version with Windows 7.

Can someone please guide how to tackle this.

1. Is Provident Fund allowed to show in Proof of Fund?
2. How to show Provident Fund (PF) as Funds? I have PF account with Govt of India where my contribution and employer contribution have been deposited from several years.
3. Can we get balance certificate from PF office?

I suspect much of the attention is on 2174 and 2173,probably because of the volume of applications under this 2 eligible occupations. It is a pointer to the fact that people who are yet to apply under this 2 eligible occupations should make haste before the cap limit is reached.

Provident fund can be shown. (though there is no credible feedback from people who got their PR processed with PF as proof of funds).

You can dowload the statement online nowadays, it is computer generated, no signature required.
