Hi, i am almost the same at every thing. I just got an email a few hours ago asking to submit PPC and copy of the passport plus an updat form. No mention for medicals at all. Is this normal, and when do i expect a medical request? For the pcc, shall i email it to them or mail it? Thanks a lot. Ahmed

I read in one of the forum pages someone mention following info: (Notice text in ITALIC)

Right of Permanent Residence Fee:
• $490 per person for you (the principal applicant) and your spouse or common-law partner (if applicable). Dependent children are exempt.
• You will need to pay this fee before your application for permanent residence can be finalized. We will send you a request to pay this fee when we are ready to issue the permanent resident visa.


SO my question is that, when we receive RPRF, does it mean Visa Office is done with background and security checks etc. and it's ready to issue visa?

Yes, it is almost at the last stage that they ask for RPRF and they are ready to issue visa....

I am glad to share that I just got Passport Request from LVO. Medical was submitted 2 days back.

Hi Ahmed, This appears to be normal, pls refer to Atharabbas post, even he has received PCC request before MR.

Good to hear that LVO has started processing the files.

Hi mates. I Have one question i am a 19 sep applicant . PER 7 jan.2015.

My question is at the present time i am in London and i have visa until the 30 of Oct. how many chance that i can get Canada visa before the expiry date of my London visa? other wise i have to renew my current visa in august? Thanks

My family size is 4. At the time of landing, is it necessary to bring funds equivalent to CAD 22170 (cash + DDs + Travellers Cheques etc), which is set for the family size of 4, at the time of filing immigration application. Is it OK, if lower funds are carried at the time of landing?

Can anybody clarify the above?

thanks for your prompt reply, Skashi, i tried to find information on Atharabbas post but failed due to my ignorance on how to use this useful forum. Any idea if emailing the pcc is enough or do i have to mail them? Thanks a lot for your help

online payment facility is really good option, link was in your MR mail, once register and pay online using CC is faster.

Two days back we saw few PPR but again they stopped it....

NDVO is checking our patience.

I am May 28 applicant, received PER on Sep 19, Medicals done on Nov 4 and third line updated on Nov 13....and the wait is still going on...

Not sure when we will get Decision Made status.. This time is killing us not able to concentrate or plan..

Not able to decide if we should resign or still work ....

Same condition dear, i am really very tired from my current company and want to resign but how can i resign till PPR not received.

Little tensed, as seen today many friends rec'd MR today with similar time line as mine.

I m still waiting for MR....
Delay is just because of my international stay n travel???

Really tensed....... But happy about friend who stepped in to next process....

My 2nd line updated on 31 Jan.. And process started on 28 Jan 2015..... Per on 09dec'14 , 2132, 18 Aug'14 application. PCC submitted with application, NDVO

Don't worry dear, one of my 3rd july friend still waiting for MR and 2nd line has been updated in Dec 14, hope u all r get MR request soon.

sometimes applications stacked due to some verification or depends on category or Visa officer so i think don't worry dear it will take time...

No second line update as yet. PER received 27 Nov 14.

People with NDVO and PER received in dec 14 seems to be getting second line update. Getting worried now .
