I am 14th July Applicant PER 11th Nov,still i am waiting for 2nd line update.
I have submit my new born baby docs in November last week,is that reason for 2nd line not update.

Any advise from forum members.

I have received two RPRF and MR for both NOC that I applied.Am I supposed to pay fees twice.At which point of time do they merge the application as one PR application?

Hi All,

My Medical request came on 8th Jan 2015 . We did the medical checkup on 12th Jan 2015. However, mine is a joint application with my wife and she could not complete the medical examination since she is pregnant. X-ray is a must for Canada medical check but we didnt want to risk taking the Xray since it has chances of affecting baby even with the lead plate xray protection.

So further processing for our file will be pending until they recieve my wife's X-ray, which will only be done after her delivery in July 2015.

Canada does not accept the sputum test for TB (unlike britain), they are adamant about having x-ray for the TB test.

I am highly confused and worried :-X ???
My Application was received on 1st August
CC charged 10th November
PER received on 26th November.

Since then i have not received any update from CIC. Even when i check my online status i see just the first line that our application was received on xxx date.

Friends what should i do.... are there other people also in the same situation ??? is there some thing to be worried about as i see people who got their PER on and after 27th Nov getting MR request :-X :-X ??? :'(



Don't worry, we will get the MR in couple of days.. mine also same Aug 1st and PER 27th Nov. Waiting for the turn.....

Does this means PER? I have yet to receive mail. I am sooooooooooooo happy now the wait begins.

Seniors / Bankers Plz help

• Bank says they have no means of tracking the DD payment or checking encashed or not.
• Are hand written Demand Drafts Okay, like the one above?
• Anyone from the banking industry who can help me know how a DD is tracked so I can confront the Bank with the right questions/statements?
• Any such tools they use or applications in which they would be able to trace the payment

-hand written DD is absolutely OK
- to track ur dd.. give ur dd no. date of issuance, beneficiary name, amount to foreign exchnage dept. or treasury dept.of the bank.. they will definately tell u the status as they have correspondent link with bank of montreal...

Help and guidance need from forum people.

I have got my PER on 26th Nov and since then i have not heard any thing from CIC.

I have question.

i have a change in my family status, as have been blessed with a baby in december end 2014. How do i inform my local visa office?? do i wait for a mail from them and then notify them of i send the updated information right away.
It been nearly 50 days since PER mail and my online status has just first line in it.

although it is good to take all precautions during the pregnancy of your wife.. but i wonder who told you that a chest X Ray can cause damage to the baby !!! this is not true.. please check around on google and you will come to know that it is absolutely safe to get the chest X ray done... rest it is your personal decision. good luck.

Its safe to take X-ray while being pregnant. Only thing is that you should let the technician know it before hand. He will provide a lead belt, which has to be worn around the tummy to protect the baby from stray x-ray
