Does anyone have any update on end of OCTOBER applicants? Anybody here whose payment might have been charged recently?? Mode of payment DD. People from november having DD are being charged these days. Its so depressing.

Hi Guys,
I'm preparing for my landing in Canada

Documents to carry:
1. Passport
2. CoPR Letter 2 copies
3. 2-3 Photos
4. Air ticket
5. PoF (Bank Draft or Travel cheque, or cash)
6. B4 Form 2 copies
7. Declaration form (Will get it in place)
8. Address for PR card (take printout of address)
9. Disembarkation Form (will get it in plane)
Am I missing something or above list is sufficient?

Please answer:
Declaration and Disembarkation Forms are same or different?
Can I carry Travel cheques as PoF?
I don't have Goods to follow list, So only one B4 Form is sufficient?

Today I called CIC and the customer agent told me my UCI. Unable to open ECAS to check the status. How much time it needs to be active?

Hi Congratulations upon receipt of the UCI number. You will be able to see the status only once PER has been issued. Therefore please be patient and expect the PER soon in your inbox and after that you will se status in your ECAS. We have received your application on Date..

Please share your experience on purchasing managers forum. Also please share, how did you convince the call centre agent to give you UCI?

Very Happy To Announce that my DD has been charged, as got the confirmation from my bank. I am very much thankful to all the forum members who supported me and guided me till this stage. Hope I will get the same guidance in future also.

My Timeline is as follows:

Category- 0121
Application received date: Nov 10th, 2014
Dd Charged: Jan 14th, 2015 as per the bank

If she is cancer free then it should not be a problem. She might have to undergo additional tests but I dont think it will have a negative impact on the application. Seniors please correct if I am wrong.

I have a question...Friend of mine...has applied under 4011.
His wife suffered from cancer but now she is fine. will that be a problem in the due course..when the medical stage appears ??

Hi friends......I am a new joinee to this forum.
I am December 9th Applicant. I have two questions.
1) My NOC is 2172, what are my chances of making it to the cap?
2) I resigned from my job on 3rd of November as a Database Administrator, but upon my request my Team Lead issued me a reference letter on 17th of November with my job duties and responsibilities. However, he mentioned that I am still working with the organization, but the fact is, I resigned it on 3rd of November and mentioned it on all the Immigration forms and also attached my resignation acceptance letter. Will it cause any problem?

I am too tensed, and will greatly appreciate your responses.

I think that you will be safely in the CAP. Because as per my understanding that CIO have already exhaused on or before 15th Jan 2015 all the applications lying at their offices. And applications are either considered in the CAP if complete and cap is not filled or returned back to the applicant after completeness check. Therefore i think those applicants of December who up till now did receive back their application parcel would be safely in the CAP. Regarding your job I think that it will not be a problem. It will be considered as typgraphical error which you can clarify at later stage.

DD encashed - 18th Dec (according to the email)
DD encashed - 29th Dec (according to the bank)
PER - 19th Jan (i got it on 20th as its 20th jan here in australia)
