Same here and already resigned from company.....and not have any plans to join new company....so enjoy holidays with family before go to Canada.

In the case if you are affluent enough and doesn't need any more money then you should resign. Otherwise I think till you haven't received passport in your hand after visa stamping do not resign.

This is great stuff! +1 to you, such a helpful post! About emedical centre — you mean I should just enquire the location for medical examination in my country? Or is "emedical" some thing on the Internet?

Just call up medical centre. Most of them are e enabled.

I had applied for 1112 and my cc got debited way back in september and I received the mail on 9/9/2014 containing the file number after which I have received no further correspondence from CiC. Can someone tell me whats the next step whats in store for me how long should i wait .Any link showing the next step will also be helpful

Experts need your advice. I have received PER yesterday and i have found in the email received from CIC that my name was in correct. Actually i rectified my name in all the documents before sending application but in PER i was surprised to see my previous name. Still wondering how the CIC knew my previous name.

My Current Name: Muhammad xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx
My previous Name: Muhammad xxxxxxx Ahmed xxxxxx

There was error in my cnic and passport so i got "Ahmed" removed from my name providing my birth certificates and relevant documents.

I have also counter checked my application forms and documents sent with my application and everywhere my rectified name is mentioned. I dont know from where CIC got this info.

Experts please advise should i send email to CIC for rectification or there is no need for that.

I have been following this forum from last couple of months and found it very useful to get the first hand info on immigration process. I would appreciate if you guys advice how to deal this issue

As per my knowledge there is no need for that. Becuase it seems that CIC has accepted this amendment and of them it is not an issue.

I have 60 days to send the documents but on the MR email its mentioneed that i have 30 days,thats the deadline to DO the medical ,right?..

And i want to do a new passport,better to do it now before i do the medicals or i can send a new passport on PPR??
Please advise...

Is it OKAY to resign / quit from the current job having 3 months' notice period while waiting for PPR ..?? with the hope that during notice period PPR and PPS wll be done.!

That depends.
If you want to leave India ASAP once you get visa to get the first mover advantage. You can.
However, you need to think other parameters as well such as, even if within these 3 months of notice period time you do not get visa then,:
1) Are you able to get another job or how easy it is to get a job if not more then with same current salary? If you think yes, then as a contingency plan grab a job when you have completed 1.5 months of notice period and no sign of PPR.
2) Are you the only earning guy in your family?
3) What are the financial responsibility which may affect if you have to stay in India for next 3-5 months as well.

Think wise, act smart and proceed accordingly.
I am waiting for PPR and have already resigned which comes to an end by Feb End.
I believe, I would be able to get a new job in my field in my city anytime considering the current demand; I will opt for the one in Feb and will join in April. As March I was supposed to be at home for some certification course even if I get visa.

I also applied for bucharest , could you please explanin to me if you got request of Medical and PRFF in same email ??????

from what i know is bucharest ask for PRFF and Police certificate when file get transferred to them ? right ? could you please let me know how did you know your file get transferred at 18/11? what did they told you

suggest someone from Bucharest Vo answers your questions cuz i didnt see your email, i could not answer.
most people inform VO about the new passport change when they get PPR.
