Dear seniors,

I received my PER on 04-Nov-2014 and still my second line in ECAS is not updated.

Is it something due to holiday time or is it getting delayed.

BTW, my application received date @ CIO is 09-July-2014.

Please help me understand.

Nothing to worry...still June last week Applicants getting second line update..only one July 22 Applicant reported second line update so far.. may be few more July but only random applications

No, can not check with bank. They do not privide information like this.

I took DD from ICICI bank. I sent mail to nri@icicibank.com and got the reply and call from executive. You can go to the branch directly (from where you have taken DD) and they are able to give you information...

I think VOs have not the authority to ask banks about the funds in a specific account. The should rely on your bank statement and that's all.

I agree that they do not have the authority to check the status of the account.... They can, however, ask the person to submit the revised statement at the time of medical.

I think they do ask banks when they find it suspicious
My uncle used to work in bank and he used to receive calls from embassy

Hello Friends,

Just need your expert advice. I was working with an “XYZ” company and it was during my tenure with them that I had traveled to Canada. And their sister concern company named “ABC” had sponsored my visa due to some internal finance relating issues of the company. Now, in my work details submitted to CIC, I have mentioned the name of company “XYZ”, my actual employer. But if NDVO checks my visa records, then they might find that I had applied for visa through company “ABC” and I have no where mentioned the name of that company in the form. So, will it affect their decision and if yes, then is there any way by which I can inform them about the details of the sister concern company “ABC”.

I had asked the same question to my bank whether any 3rd party is authorized to ask about my funds in the bank.. As i am elite customer of the bank and have friendly relations with the staff,the banker gave me a polite answer He gave me some examples that they had received fax from other parties( He didnt mentioned CIC or anything, he only referred 3rd party).

The moment they recieve such faxes, they make sure they use it as a toilet paper to wipe as they have shortage of toilet paper in their inventory

I couldn't beleive he said all that to me.. I liked his Honest Answer..

Hello all... my 4th line was updated on 20th Dec... still no PPR email..? I am 7th May applicant , people who applied bit late are getting PPR already.. am worried pls suggest..?

I did CSE on 27th dec regarding my application update and asking about to add my new baby
And today I got reply below mail from SGVO. As my observation some of already got AOR who got per on 15th and 16th nov. So why my file still not transferred?
