Anyone has done police verification? (I know PCC is not mandatory to submit but as my WES report haven't arrived I thought of taking PCC as I have time)
Does DMP send the PCC through courier service or I have to collect it in person? I thought they will send it through mail but today I had a very bad experience a guy called me from police station and said I need to give photocopy of my birth certificate and national ID. I went there with those and that guy said-there are some fees to have the certificate(!!! I know you guys understand what that means), I gave 500 tk. He returned it because meanwhile one of his colleague got there, when the work is done on my way coming out of the office that guy said may be you never have done verification before but the fees is around 2000-3000 tk. I was shocked! The guy then said I have to collect it by myself.. they will not send it through mail! I am wondering whether they send it through mail or I have to face this criminal again!!..

Depends.

If they said you have to collect from them, it means they will do it for you, you have to collect it from them and they are giving you additional service of not waiting for courier.

You must have gotten a token number. After passing 7 days,you can call DMP and they will let you know the status.

It seems that you sent your application on may1st thru Dhl. But may 1st was a holiday and Dhl was not working!

Actually i have sent my all application to Consultant and it got reached by May 1st in canada Toronto office. In canada May 1st was not offiical holoday as of us. They just reviewed it and sent to NS through purolator.com.. so it got reached by May 5th.. sorry it was my mistake to say i have sent from India on May 1st

Are assets and liabilities mandatory , i dont have any assets all on my parents name and liabilities on my spouse name. and i am the principle accountant so can i just write them as zero. would that be fine.

For your case:
Assets = Settlement Fund
Liability= 0
Settlement Fund = Settlement Fund

One of my previous company/employer has been closed. I have reference letter, appointment letter, business cards, etc. from that company to claim points.

15'March, 1997. So the year of graduation to be entered on the WES form is 1994 or 1997?

1) In my bank statement i showed CAD 17000, however in Schedule 3 - IMM0008 form in question number 11, Assets i declared CAD 14720 (thinking this was the amount what CIO has asked for). Will this create any issues?

2) My main application NOC is 2174 as per previous company experience.
In Schedule 3 - IMM0008 form, question number 12, Work experience, i have given the following details
12-a) Occupation: Software Developer // NOC: 2174
12-b)
- Current company - Till Date - Software Tester [NOC-2173]
- Previous Company - to and from date - Software Developer [NOC- 2174]

For 2173 50 % of roles match my reference letters
For 2174 90% of roles match my reference letter

So my question is as i am applying under NOC 2174, will they refer only reference letter related to NOC 2174 or also they will consider 2173 reference letter. If they refer 2173 NOC they match only roles of Tester and management roles
Will there be any queries, if so what?

3) In new generic Form, I kept current occupant as of Current company designation and Intended occupation also the same. But the NOC which i am applying is of with previous year designation. Will this be a problem? Will there be any queries, if so what?

I dont think there would be any problem for you if your applying in NOC 2174( if your having 1 year experience or more) ,
at the same time your NOC2173 will also be considered for total experience as it is in NOC A skill set

again for 2174 they will check all roles and responsibility and then process your application

one more 2173 is not software tester , its designer and engineer..

Hi Seniors,

Please help me with your advice.
I am an Indian citizen working in USA. So, need to apply for PCC from Indian consulate in USA.
Could you tell me what date is stamped on PCC. Is it the date when I submit my PCC application form to Indian cosulate in USA or the date consulate signs and issues it or the date police in India says my verification is completed and hands over my PCC application to passport office and then back to consulate.

If spouse is not working what do we put under current occupation ?
Also for main applicant do we need to mention the occupation as per the NOC
for eg: in my case I am working as a product marketing manager so should I write Product marketing manager or should I write Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations
