Today I logged on CIC using my old UCI no and found out the they have accepted my application, It says "Your application has been received on 12th September 2014"

It means I can start celebrating, Yeah?

Hi dear, my NOC is 2174.
Below is my timeline:

App Date: May-01-2014
PER: June-3-2014
Medical Req: Sep-17-2014
RPRF Req: Sep-17-2014
Decision Made: Dec-19-2014
PPR Email: Will hopefully get on Dec-22-2014

Is it really 100% confirmed that CIC will count years of work experience not related to your NOC as long as you have worked at least 1 year of your intended NOC?

No, It's not a Typo.

It's been a trend with NDVO. They are updating the eCAS with DM first and then sending PPR's

Terki, this is happening with almost all NDVO applicants who have got PPR. DM comes before PPR.

Yes as long as the experience is in a decent skilled job.

How many of you who got MR's received an inquiry call to u or your workplace?
I think there are too many applications for NDVO to deal with that they are mostly skipping it? what is your take on this?
