What are your timelines. If you are waiting for PPR that means you are through upto medicals. If so, then in my opinion you need not to inform anyone because ur wife preg is at very initial stage right now. After first trimester your wife will be conditionally medically fit for travel to Canada upto end of second trimester. It also depend on your stamping date as well as landing date.
