One of my friend is planning to file nder NOC 0013 but in the month of september as his docs are not ready. Can someone suggest whether this NOC is hot ? Can he fall within cap at that time

Just tell him to speed up his application, no one knows yet how this NOC numbers look like, till CIC does a cap update. its 1000 places so his chances are a lot. all the best to your mate. ;D

Can someone please give your opinion whether 2171 is demanding. According to the spreadsheet, it is not. This is the first year this code is in FSW list if I am not wrong. Greatly appreciate your comments.

All 50 NOC codes are in demand in Canada, so 2171 is also in demand. If it has not been in the list before means not a lot of rush to apply by candidates that got the apps back last year due to cap numbers. so i would say give it a shot. Its 1000 places remember. All the best for the future.

Guys,

My wife will not travel with me to Canada.Does she need to provide PCC as well ? (she is mentioned as dependent but I have mentioned that she will not travel with me to Canada)
She has been staying in Bangalore for last 5 yrs(studying) though her permanent address is West Bengal.
Do she need to get PCC from Bangalore or getting a PCC from Bengal will suffice ?

Yes, you have to provide PCC for your wife. But not required for each state. CIC wants PCC for each country. Please refer the below link

ECA completed waiting to get my report then i will apply for FSW 2014.

My report says Canadian equivalency 3 year bachelors degree and 3 year masters degree by iCASC (BCA, MCA)

Last year WES gave me wrong report that my degree is not recognized and my fsw 2013 file was rejected.

Education 23 points
language 19 points
age 12 points
job experience 13 points
blood relation in Canada 5 points
NOC 2174

Total points as per my calculation is 72

Lets see what happen's this year will i be in CAP of 1000 or not

Hi, it depends on your duties and responsibilities. Regardless of your title, if your current responsibilities match the duties listed in the NOC list for 0911 up to 80%, then you are good to go.

Is it fine if i submit my contract stating Project Manager with experience letter stating IT Consultant.

It cannot be assume Cold just b'coz it has no precedence. There will be many dark horses from new list 50 Occupations.. so you can expect to see more hoties popping up in FSW 2014 other than the conventional 2174, 1112's etc

I mean if I assume I will have everything ready in say, next 2-3 months, will I still have a chance ?

There is one spreadsheet I found that shows the status (and is answer to my second question asked earlier). I couldn't post it here somehow, but it says so far, 10 applications have been filed in 4011. No prior (2013) data for the same though.

Hi, yes you can. CIC is not concerned with different titles, what they are reviewing is if you have the matching responsibilities for your NOC.

So far its not abnormal....ur file will be handed over to courier within this week hopefully...

keep updated with ur WES account. they will provide u a tracking number soon (if u choose express int courier..)....
