Thank you for the details Papilion but I will get it from my bank as I have a foreign currency account in the Bank. It will be more convenient for me than going to Liberty.

it is better to get DD from 'link exchange' near liberty round about LHR.
they give it same day, if u pay them in 1st half.
maximum on next day, if u go in 2nd half. they only charge conversion rate plus 1500. PKR as DD charges.

others charge high on conversion rate, plus 2500-3500 as DD charges. also they give u DD on 3rd day as its made from karachi.

Please can any one send me contact details to contact CIC.I have applied on 23rd july and application reached on 30th july. havent heard anything from CIC tilldate. no mail or CC charged till now.

cio-sydney-search-enquiry[at]cic.gc.ca to get the status of your application. You will have to send them your Last name, First name, Date of Birth, Country of Birth in order to get the notification.

If you have gotten your PER inform your VO now, if not wait for PER and the raise an inquiry.

An advice much needed. My application has been received by CIC on 3rd Dec, 2014 (I applied under NOC Code:1114), but on spreadsheet 'NOC by Received Date', it does not show that any application had been receievd so far on 3rd Dec under my NOC Code. Should I wait or what?

Can any one please help

My application for 2132 (payment DD) and 2232([payment CC) received by CIC on Wed 6th Aug. My DD has been debited on 19th Nov as confirmed from Issuing bank, but I have not received my PER yet. And my credit card for application 2232 got declined as bank blocked due to security reasons. I have received decline MSG 4 times in a month time on my mobile. I fear that my application might have got rejected by now. Last time they swiped my card was on 4th Dec. In spite of sending them a fresh fee payment form with new card details they have not considered it for swiping. I don't know why?
I am concerned about my 2132 application (payment DD), why I have not received PER for the same yet?

I have sent multiple emails on CIC email address but no one has replied back on that. I do not know how to contact CIC to confirm the status.
And Also customer care number seems to be useless as no phone agent gets connected over there.

I have neither received my applications back from CIC to home address if got declined.

Hello everyone,

I am sending a DD for payment of application fee. It is mentioned in the form that payment should be in CAD $. I have a US $ account in Bank and my DD will be in US$ as well. So, what will be the amount of DD. The form says CAD$550 per person. For 2 it becomes CAD$1100 but DD will be in US$ so due to exchange rate difference, will I make a draft of US$980 or will it be US$1100. I am confused totally.

I've got Medical Request on November 12 and we have undergone Immigration Medical Examination in Kyiv IOM (Ukraine) on December 1st.

Now we are stuck in waiting. Does anybody from UA know how long usually does it take to receive POVL after Medical passed?

You are stuck in waiting??? Your meds were probably received on December 3 or 4. Today is December 8, with December 6-7 being a weekend. It's only third working day after your medicals were received, man! ;D DO calm yourself down, everything will be fine! :-*

According to my statistics (rather scarce) on our VO, they issue PPR within 5-10 days after receiving meds. Be patient. Good luck!
