What do you mean by "going down" - CIC is working slowly or the program will be closed by the end of the year. I am august applicant and have not received my PER very worried.

They will be still processing applications received before December 31st but since they are not accepting new applications under FSW there is no need to update the numbers unless to show a NOC capped. But who knows, they might also do the update as they always have done....

Wait one more week and then use the inquiry page to update the VO about your changes. They way I did was to upload new forms and a cover letter explaining why I was sending those documents. Do not forget to include UCI, File Number, Birth Date and Full Name.

Posting my questions again

I'm 26th June applicant and awaiting my MR/RPRF.

Two questions:

1. Would it be advisable to apply for EE in Jan'15?
2. If I don't apply for EE then another question arise is, Will I be able to access the job search pool which CIC has created for EE applicants?

Can anyone please share thoughts on this?

I wouldn't apply. At least I will wait a little bit more before jumping into the EE pool. But anyway, keep your documents ready just for precaution. Good luck.

I am not able to access the SS to check the details but I think they are still charging August applications so yours will take a little bit more.

hey thanks a lot !!! is there any last date of per receive i am indicating towards the end of program by 19 th dec probably coz after that xmas holidays !!! so is it possible that cic will work on pending cases ??? coz they have already charged for it so will the continue working ???

Dear friends,
In sending Addendum, how important are UCI and email for the officers to match it with application? (I have UCI)
My main application was received on Nov 07 and the addendum (Updated Fee Payment form) + email on Nov 19. On addendum package and email I mentioned my UCI and main application tracking number and ALL the necessary information. I also mentioned the addendum tracking number in my email which was sent immediately after received addendum.

My main question is if the officer don't see my email before completeness check (which is probable due to recent quick cc charges), can I expect the addendum to be matched with my application?

What's your idea about sending a new application?

I assume the email is somehow useless in this case. I guess they just put emails in a queue to handle them in due time (about 30 working days). As per this forum the chance for an addendum to be matched with the application is 50%.
Sending a new application with CC rather than DD is a good idea as the last option. You are able to limit the credit card in a case that your current application would be successful. They won't penalize you for sending multiple applications.

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, I'd like to ask a question regarding my application. And i need your opinions to evaluation my situation.

I worked in my country for 6 years as electrical and electronic engineer(NOC:2133).
After that I worked in Canada for a year as a software developer(NOC:2174), but in order to apply for this opportunity and work permit, i once submitted my resume to CIC which stressed on the tasks of software development(NOC:2174).

Now i'm back in my country and i'm applying via FSWP1 under electrical and electronic engineer(NOC 2133), in the letter of reference from my employer, it emphasized on Electrical and electronic design which i did for 6 years as per CIC NOC lead description. And I just received my PER yesterday.

Now my question is when my case comes to the local visa office, will they scrutinize my previous documents(to be specific: resume) and discover this "discrepancy"?
what's your opinion? pls help.

Thanks and +1 ....i have prepared the cover letter including my case information and new information and scanned relevant support for attachments. Further, i will request them to guide me with respect to process ahead and requirements (forms, fees, additional docs etc)

If they discover the "discrepancy" you are talking about I think it wouldn't matter. There are a lot of people that have changed professions and that's completely normal. As long as the info your submitted is true and you can prove it I think you are OK.

I am in big problem now. i will get my IELTS hard copy on 23rd of December. If I send my file on same day by courier it will take around 7 days to reach there so the date will be 30th December.

I am worried about christmas holidays. I am worried about if some one will not there to revecive file then what happend.

Please provide your valuable input for my query.

I believe they will have a skeleton staff working especially at the front office desk and therefore your package will be received. Have faith, you will not be time barred.

Do you have an UCI number from a previous application (temporary visa, student visa, fsw...)? If you have it then you will be able to check your ECAS. If this is the first time you apply then you should wait until receiving PER. Good luck.

How soon can one check when you have UCI number with application received on 4 December 2014?
