Frankly no1 knows what a VO is doing- everybody is making their best guess.

Last year my brother applied for a student Visa- He sent his PP to NDVO and did not receive any revert on it for 5 months and then he got the PP back with Visa stamped. This year I applied for a visitor visa- I got my PP back in 3 days with Multiple entry visitor visa till validity of my PP which is till 2017 ....its mysterious the ways of VO working....

So all we can do is wait /....wait ....and wait....

I am in the same boat as you thinking of quitting the job ....but you and me both know its not logical

Yeah! I want as much time as possible between Visa stamping and landing to make all arrangements to move there...

By january mid . provided tht ur app falls within the cap limit..... all the best

Nope...I dont work in Mumbai, I work in Gujarat.

Well...if u r planning to settle in Ontario or say particularly in GTA region (Torono) then let me know.. I have stayed there for 4 years till 2008.

Tell me one thing...

How come FSW 2013 backlog is being cleared till Dec-2014..??

Personally, I dont find any logic.

And if there is some logic.....let me guess...how long it wll take to clear backlog of FSW 2014 which has already begun to built up??

Would we get time of just around 1 month to land before our validity of Visa???

Please dont take it as contradiction to your statement but somehow I always get confused when I hear this word "backlog of FSW 2013"

What you said, makes absolute sense to me. But, what I think is may be they will clear 2014 fast as the process is changing from 2015.
