Thanks Shavi. But I called the panel physician and they said they will do the medicals for both of us except that my wife will not go for X-ray. So am a bit confused. Is it that she will have to undergo medicals now and then later after delivery too? Will the PPR be postponed till child birth?

Hi Holic, Congrats for MR. As per my knowledge, x-ray is being done to rule out any chances or traces of TB. TB can also be diagnosed through sputum test or more accurately through TB-PCR. Since, x-ray is not advisable for pregnant lady, so in your case your physician might go for either sputum or PCR test. Sputum test time taking because it require proper incubation period for the growth of microbacterium but PCR is less time consuming however it is costly. Now its depends on your physician that how much extra he/she would take out from your pocket.

No, your wife wo't require any test after delivering the baby. So all the best for your medicals.

and DD encashed on 14 Nov 2014 (as per Thomas Cook)

When can I expect a PER mail ? Its been more than 15 days since DD encashment now getting worried
Incase of NER, do they send mail or simply send file back in such situation :-\ :'( :-\ ??? ???
