Hello everyone,

Please is it true that one can access one's full pension because one is relocating out of Nigeria? Is there any legislation to that effect? Also, how can one access ones contributions to the national housing fund upon resignation.

To all waiting for one update or the other from AVO, may God move them to give speedy and good updates to all in Jesus' mighty name, amen.

@Rusellix,

Please did you send a request to AVO to schedule you to do another medicals after the initial one expired, or AVO on their own sent you for fresh medicals without your prompting them.

I'm asking because my medicals also expired at the end of September.

Regards.

@Anointed,

A mail was sent asking a member of my family to do some additional tests which also included instructions do mine within 30 days.

But before that, I had sent them a couple of CSE's to prompt them that our medicals were expiring, though.

I suspect it was the need for the additional tests that prompted the request and not the CSEs I sent.

Hi, its not true. You can only access 25% of your RSA balance four months after leaving a job or being unemployed and submiting the requirements for processing. The only other way to get money from your RSA is when you draw up to 50% of your RSA balance as lump sum upon Retirement which is still 60 years of age as per the law.

Esttycan, anybody telling you otherwise should please show us the PFA policy they are quoting or name the PFA that paid out any money outside what I just stated.

there is no full payment at anytime to you according to the extant law the option available to you is to get 25%loss of job benefits after 4 months of leaving employment and no other gainful employment for those 4 month, the other option is a lump sum either at retirement at age 60 or if you are 50 yrs of age at time of leaving employment whichever is later and the lump sum withdrawal is a function of if the balance is adequate to purchase a programmed withdrawal for certain future yrs or an annuity for life from an insurance coy but with a structured payment I. e. monthly, quarterly etc.

Thank you.
