A lot of people on the Express Entry stream have been asking me what the chances are to get a job offer and boost their application. What you need to realise is that a potential employer needs to obtain a LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessmen) becaue of you. No company will go through the LMIA process unless they're hiring you for a senior management position.
Now to move forward in getting an LMIA, it would require them to advertise the job for at least a month to prove that no Canadian could be found for the role and for this reason they are more likely to hire a Canadian or someone who is already on ground with PR or other form of leave to remain. Any employer willing to press on would have to file the LMIA application and probably wait four months for it to be processed. Considering application and advertising fees, it will likely cost them a couple of thousand dollars to go through the process. Even if they were willing to go through the process, the application would almost surely be refused since they won't be able to prove that a Canadian or a PR holder already on ground couldn't be hired for the role.
So hope this clarifies the postion and highlights the need to pursue Provincial Nomination instead. I wish you all the best in your endeavours
