Hello all,

I just got my ITA for express entry. Please does anyone know where I can do medicals in Abuja and how much it costs. Thanks a lot
Please you will need to call the contact number and book an appointment for your medicals and you will be informed of the cost.
The earlier you make the call the better, as i am told that they normally have large patients to attend to. More so, they are about the only (not so sure) hospital used in Abuja. Even other Countries use them - America, Canada e.t.c

Praise the Lord, everybody. He has done great things. Amazing Grace, in the manner of Barack Obama's speech at Charleston, South Carolina yesterday.

At 10:19am yesterday, our passports and CoPR landed at my doorstep safely - relieving me of my misery in tracking them from AVO through DHL Accra to DHL NG between June 19 and yesterday. It was an awful experience. In the process, DHL dropped someone else's AVO shipment at my residence along with mine. Anyway, all that was sorted out yesterday and DHL came back for them - after my wife contacted the person with the phone number on the shipment to let him know that the docs. were with us, unopened and safe but that DHL and DHL alone should come to retrieve the shipment.

Anyway, we bless God that this Nigerian end of our Canadian expedition is ending in praise.

Below, I have updated my timeline:

NOC - 1111
Passports sent to AVO via DHL NG - June 12, 2015

Passports received by AVO - June 15, 2015

Passports pick up email from AVO - June 19, 2015

DHL NG instructed to pick up passports from AVO. - June 19, 2015

DHL NG sent an email along with their RPA form to DHL Ghana for pick up but mail held in DHL outbox over weekend due to DHL NG system upgrade - June 19, 2015

DHL NG finally succeeded in sending the email and RPA form to DHL Ghana - June 22, 2015

DHL Ghana picked up passports from AVO. - June 24, 2015

Passports delivered at my residence by DHL. - 10:19am Nigerian Time, June 26, 2015

To God be all the glory for the great things He has done and is doing.

Thank you so much to Pipis Husband, first, for creating this forum and to everyone else that pitched in to offer one advice or the other. A great TEAM we are - Together Everyone Achieves More. I didn't use any consultant. You all were my consultants - a case of more heads being better than one. My eldest son said to my wife and I that something that started like a joke is ending in this unimaginable reality. It can only be God.

Now, we set out sights on preparing to move to Canada.

Thanx everybody.
Congratulations and thank God it has ended in praise.

However, i am so disappointed at the level of lack luster action of DHL.
How on earth would they be misplacing/displacing people's passport.
This is so unprofessional.

May God help us.

Thanks for your quick response. I know in Lagos, there are like two or more clinics that avail applicants with the medicals. I only want to know if Abuja clinic is the only clinic recommended for applicants in Abuja and its environ. Thanks

Hello PH, Kollins and All my experienced Seniors.

I need an analysis on the timeline for receiving PPR. Is it based on your application received date or on a time frame from when medicals was done? Today makes it exactly 1 month i did medicals and ECas showed medical received exactly 2 weeks after medicals with my application date 21st of July 2014, no 3rd line yet. I have been unable to project when I should be expecting my PPR so i need your analysis.

Thanks

Hi, no one can say specifically how AVO processes all applications (except you know any one that works there directly). Since you have done the medicals, your PPR will come this week by the grace of God. I don't see any issue but what I see is your PPR coming. Just be ready to receive your PPR very soon. That is all I can say. I would be glad to hear your good news.
