Hello my peeps. Thank God for the positive updates, it shows we are gradually moving forward and it is ending in praises for all of us.

Please I have a query and I need advice. My wife's international passport expired earlier this week and we have gotten it renewed. I am presently waiting for my MR hopefully before July runs out.

The point now is, do I raise a CSE now and update AVO about the passport renewal or just wait for the MR to come and update it by then?

I learnt CSE sometimes slows down/delays processing and I am not sure I want any further delay for now

Please advise.

I'm having a similar issue but in as much as I wished to raise a CSE, professionals advised me to wait for the MR as they will definitely request for update.
Its your choice at the end of the day.

There is no documented evidence that CSE delays or accelerates processing....it boils down to the officer handling your file and the peculiarity of your update....some updates flags of suspicion leading to delay while others speed up processing.Generally,Passport updates does not delay your processing in any way unlike adding a new born or adopted child to your application.
There is no harm in updating your passports renewal through CSE now....they only file it in your records.
It boils down to your decision.

Below is the process :
Dhl will only attend to you when you have received a pick up mail.. its the pick up mail from AVO office, which is sent to your mail that will be taken to the nearest dhl/FEDEX/UPS office for your passport to be picked up. from your timeline, the pick up should come in anytime between july 1st -july 3rd (at the latest, if not earlier ). upon receiving the pick up mail, you will head down to the nearest dhl office/UPS/FEDEX offcice and do the needful of making payment for pick up and as well showing the pick up mail.
once this is done, they will carry out the next line of action by instructing their courier office in accra to ..
