I will suggest you go ahead to do the medical with the soon to be expired international passport as you cannot renew it until sometime in jjune (6 months to expiration). You can then raise a CSE after renewal .

if your passport will expire in december, go ahead with your medicals and i will advise that you renew passport asap and inform ur VO once renewed but be quick about the renewal before the call for ur ppr.
reason is my friend was in a similar boat at and didn't want to renew. unfortunately they stamped his passport with ppr and copr expiry date was the same as his passport expiring date. hence he had to make an expedited move to canada.
however, if you renew your passport, the visa is valid till about a year from issue, i think.

I got a mail for document (passport) pick up from AVO today. It has ended in praise for me. I wish everyone the best in their application too!

For those that have one or more challenge(s) in their application, I wanna encourage you not to be deterred ............. I never got any ECAS access through out my application period but I thank God I got my visa!

I havent applied to the EE cos my wife who would be d primary applicant is about to take the IELTS this week. Mine is W-7.0, R-8.0, L-7.5, S-7.0. Overall-7.5.

But i have some worlries.

My in-law in the UK wants to foot our bill on this-all the way. But, how do i get to do the payments involved from my end, when the money will be sent to us when we need to use money especially the processing fee or to give the proof of funds which i dont have in my personal account but be sent to us?.

I want to be furnished with this info, so that i wont be running from pillar to post when the time comes.

Also, in making online payments, i dont have a crdit card neither an account in canada. How does one go about making payments. Is our local debit card enabled to make payments

Will appreciate this and any other useful and beneficial infos, tips and guides
