CONGRATS to Pipis Husband and all others I couldn't mention (pardon me, it's bcos we have so many updates, God's name be praised).

Thank God for all the good news and not so good news so far on this thread. As the Good Book teaches us to thank God in all things, cos all things worketh together for good of those that love God and those that are called according to His purpose. Very shortly, the not so good news will be turned to great testimonies IJMN.

Been away for sometime now due to work and some active roles played in the last election. I pray for continuous peace and prosperity of our dear Country. Once again, I am proud of all citizens of our great Country who worked hard for change and also our outgoing President who allowed for a peaceful, transparent process and showed statesmanship by conceding defeat. May God continue to bless our Country Nigeria and our future new Country Canada.

Ussave.

Hi, the couple will need to send a CSE or write to their review officer using the last mail from him, informing him of the addition to the family and attaching the birth certificate. They should also request for further instructions on how to add the baby to their application file. Pending the reply, they should build up their POF to include the baby, get the baby's international passport and prepare the baby's application fee. All the best to them.

Congrats Pipis husband. At last! I am so happy for you. Congrats Motivated (we follow each other fa). And congrats to everyone with updates. Its worth the struggle.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and well wishes. It is a good land although the first couple of weeks is (and will be) unbelievably busy- forms upon forms, visiting different govt offices, finding and setting up apartment, looking for schools for kids etc.

I packed beans but dropped it a the last minute. Since Motivated brought beans, I am sure you can too. Since they didnt open bag here, u can attempt ur yam if you can scale Nigerian checks. But there is wheat and okro (we have been eating wheat swallow and okro soup with our dry fish from Naija and having fun!). There is also sweet potato to replace yam!

What I am loving most is the abundance and affordability of all kinds of fruits; the non-existence of NEPA ( :P) and the way everything is structured. Without a guide, you use google maps to plan your trips and can know to the very minute when the bus/metro will arrive.

Everyone has been welcoming, friendly and helpful. People go out of their way to help you as a new immigrant. So far so good...
zoze congrat on your safe landing

Yes they do. Its only University of Portharcourt that WES does not evaluate their degrees.

Yes I was also wondering university of portharcourt should be blacklisted this way. Someone should please educate me.

Thanks

Hi guys, happy new month and thank God for peace in our land after the presidential elections. Regardless of who you supported, evertyhing works together for good :)

As promised to my chat group yesterday, I now confirm receipt of my PR visa. My darling Pipi picked up the package this morning from DHL.

Here's a rundown of my time line for those too lazy to go the 2014 Nigeria spreadsheet and check ;D

12/05/2014 - Application received at CIO
31/08/2014 - PE received
27/01/2015 - Medical/RPRF request
29/01/2015 - RPRF paid
30/01/2015 - Medicals done
09/03/2015 - Passport request
11/03/2015 - Passport sent
20/03/2015 - Visa issued
01/04/2015 - Passport collected

I prophesy that God who held my hand all through this saga will stand by you all in Jesus name. Just stand and believe and see the Lord do what only He can do in your life and situation.

No matter the circumstance, remember that it shall end in praise. Warm regards from Pipi and me, her Husband :)

Congratulations to you and your family. I pray you will eat the good of your new land
