Hi Pipis Husband,

I need your advice.

1. My friend applied 17th Dec 2014, and got his PER last week. In January 2015, God blessed them with a beautiful princess, when and how should he inform CIO/AVO about the new family addition? He is about acquiring her passport though, what next?

2. Our passports (Spouse and I) will expire in Oct this year, when should we renew and how do we inform AVO on the update?

Thanks!

Dear All,
As we all know that we are often encouraged to use the time we have now to keep up-scaling our skills, acquiring certification in our career line, business skills acquisition, etc. Whichever stage you are in this journey, it is never too late to start working towards acquiring more skills.

I am glad to inform the house that I recently passed CBAP certification. CBAP means Certified Business Analysis Professional. Organized by International Institute of Business Analysis, Toronto, Canada.

I am currently the Project Manager in my place of work and by the grace of God, I hope to get PMP-certified before leaving for Canada.

I pray that God will favour us all and prosper our souls so that we can prosper beyond our expectations in Canada.

Big congratulations Flosure, and thanks for sharing. This is an inspiration/encouragement for the rest of us.

Let your friend raise CSE to AVO for addition of their new baby, that means your friend should be ready for updated POF as the family size hhas increased. As for youand your spouse you can renew your passport and also raise CSE to AVO attaching your new bio data page. I hope this answer your queries

Thanks tbaba! But is it possible for one to contact AVO with a CSE on any issue even when one has not heard from them after PER? No AOR yet oooo. Assuming our files have been sent else where nko? (kenya or SA)

I don't think so. CSEs are to be raised only on the issues that were mentioned in your PER mail.

Don't have a suggestion in response to your 'assumption'. But if your files were sent to SA, then good for you. Cos Pretoria is one of d fastest Africa visa offices at the moment :)

JUST ASKING...WHAT IS THE STATUS OF A NEW BORN BABY BY A TEMPORARY RESIDENT OF CANADA? DOES IT MAKE HIM/HER A CITIZEN OF CANADA, I HAD A HEATED ARGUMENT WITH SOMEONE OVER THIS ISSUE TODAY.

Accra is still for us (Nigeria), CIC has not changed it yet, let us slow down on the speculations ... I know a lot of us wish it could be some other faster VO :D This link will give you all you need to know.

Hi All.. PH, Flosure, Heykay and everyone.. I've been following this timeline for months.. I remember how I check the thread daily to see some sort of good news from other applicants as this always encouraged me. I want to praise God and just encourage everyone to hang in there no matter how daunting it gets.. I got MR this morning. Application was received by visa office in June of 2014. I have updated the spreadsheet.

Hang in there guys.. Good news is just around the corner and its headed your way in Jesus' name!

Best wishes.. ;)

Congrats Xousia....very encouraging. Which day in June is your application?
