I am a nov.12 applicant and I got my per on the 6th of feb , am patiently awaiting my MR .I like many others got my residential address updated on Ecas last week and was surprised to see that accra has started processing my application . special recognition to PH and Kollins , Solomonwise ,flosure ,Ed b good and all others may you all prosper beyond your wildest imaginations in Canada amen

hello my people, my wife is an advocate of self employment and that she has been all her life. Please does anyone know if it is allowed for a fsw immigrant to run a business in canada.

I am the PA anyway.

Hi, your wife is free to start a business of her own when you land in Canada provided she meets the requirements for establishing such business in the province where you'll settle. She can find out more from the local chamber of commerce and any of the many immigrant assistance agencies in the province. Cheers.

Please permit me to specially thank my good friend 'Gentleiphy' for introducing me to this platform.

I have taken time to go through questions and comments on this platform, and must confess that I have been educated. I am enlightened on the FSW application process even though I and my wife are currently working on submitting our application for open work permit by next month.

2 things I will like to know. How I can get an offer letter for my son who is 4+ to study which is a major required to submit our application and also a job offer to burst our chances of getting the permit.

Hi, welcome to our thread. Good to know you've picked some information here but I'm not sure I understand your question about offer letter for your 4 year old child. I've never heard of such, please clarify.
As to getting a job offer, you can apply to vacancies that exist in your industry online through sites like LinkedIn, jobsincanada, monster.ca amongst many but be aware that getting a job offer from outside Canada is very difficult especially when prospective employers find out you are not yet a permanent resident but give it a shot. I am glad to inform the house that I recently passed CBAP certification. CBAP means Certified Business Analysis Professional. Organized by International Institute of Business Analysis, Toronto, Canada. www.iiba.org

I am currently the Project Manager in my place of work and by the grace of God, I hope to get PMP-certified before leaving for Canada.

I pray that God will favour us all and prosper our souls so that we can prosper beyond our expectations in Canada.
