This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that a person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires. - Medical examination for the entire family. Medical forms will be sent to you via email tomorrow.
- Right of Permanent Residence Fee for you and your spouse.
- Updated Police clearance certificates for you and your spouse from Nigeria
- Civil marriage certificate if one was issued to you at time of marriage and wedding photos.
- Family photos taken throughout the years with your children, from the time each was an infant up to the present.
- Proof of funds: you must have in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations. Send updated bank statements, fixed deposit certificates, etc. If you have made large deposits into your accounts or fixed term investments, you must provide evidence of where the funds originated. Hello house, peeps who have sent family pictures to AVO, please share how you did it. Did you make coloured copies or you sent the originals?

This is to enable people with electronically stored pictures plan ahead. Kindly share your thoughts. Thanks.

Hi Preferred, I sent original pictures including originals of my kids hospital birth certs (not the NPC issued cert. I submitted with our application), together with their original immunization cards to AVO. Everything was returned in the envelop I sent them when we received our passports.

Also, we once applied for UK visa, and when we went to submit our app. at the VSF, were told in clear terms that they do not accept photo/scan copies of pictures, I had to rush home to pick the originals, and they were all returned with our visa. I believe there is no hard and fast rule to these things, but to be on the safer side, you may send printed/photo copies if not convinced the originals will be returned.

Application received on the 12th Nov 2014. DD got charged on the Jan 14, 2015 according to the PER mail.

- Updated IMM 5669- Schedule A for you and your spouse listing all personal and address history from the age of 18 with no time gaps.

Not sure i'm doing this the right way but thought to add my goodnews on the forum as well.

I received my PER yesterday evening.......Praise the lord.

Timeline- Application rcvd-: 06th Nov. 2014.
PER- 05th February 2015.

Can't tell when i was charged because i used consultants.

I pray we all continue to receive good news until we get our heart desire in Jesus name.

nothing can be more appropriate than sharing the good news with us........congrats

dear all,

please i have a question in relation to the medicals. i am expecting my MR anytime from now by the grace of God and i just read PH's response that BMI is checked. i want to know the implication as i am on the big side and my BMI is probably double what it should be. Also,i am on medications for my BP which keeps fluctuating. my questions are:

1. whats d implication of my BMI
2. do i have to declare i am on BP drugs even if my BP is stabilised for the test.
3.every other thing is ok,blood sugar,cholestrol,chest xray etc so what are my chances of scaling through the medicals.
