For those of us expecting Medical and others, I would like to share a question i asked on 2013 forum about POF.

Likely reasons why you may be asked to provide updates on POF?

I copied responses from forum members for our perusal!

MAIN REASONS
1. You submitted Assets as proof of funds (CHC will demand standard POF)
2. Your initial PoF is less than the required size
3. Your family size have changed
4. You submitted a bank letter instead of FD or bank statement
5. Your statement was printed like 3months before it gets to CIO in Nova Scotia
6. The VO in charge of your file.

Other Conditions
1.Sudden change in the family composition of applicant and as such the existing POF can't cover the family any more.
2.Sudden large amount in the statement of account used as POF(Account history is inconsistent)
3.Lack of correlation b/w payslips if submitted along with initial application and statement of account.
4.Long waiting period b/w time of application processing and request by VO.
5.The use of joint account could also be another factor.
6.Any other reasons best known to the officer handling your case.

How to Beat this?
1. Submitted FD or bank statement printed the very week or day you submit to CIO
2. Make sure your POF overshoots by atleast 1500dollars
3. Update your POF with Accra before MR is sent
4. Do not use asset as POF

Welcome to the forum.
It's unlikely that any applicants with your timeline will still be waiting for information from CIC regarding 24th June received application.Some bottlenecks may have prevented the successful passage of your application to the next stage and right now is not the time to be asking questions of how you did it.
Moving forward is my only preferred advice for you....and this involve submitting a newer application to CIC within the next 2 weeks not minding the cost of re-submission.
What is your NOC of interest ?
Also,are you desirous to submit within the next 2 weeks to make this work?
If you're desirous,the family here can make it work for you.
The only little challenge is the availability of your IELTS original trf and original ECA report.....apart from those two,i believe you have every other thing you need.
I assumed you have another copy of your original IELTS trf....if you don't have,you need to order another one online immediately for it to be delivered within 5 working days.
For IELTS trf,it's unlikely that British council will give you another copy of your result but that's no issues.
Once you're ready with all your package ,you can take it to British council,they will collect it from you and send on your behalf to CIC ......you only need to pay them courier charge to Canada.
The ball is in your court now.........make your decision .
I'm sure any assistance you need regarding sending your next applications available here for you....just ask,the thread members will be of a great help.

Hello Friends, i have a challenge. I have all I need. Only thing remaining is my ECA report (that was delayed by uni) which I was told will be ready by 8th dec. Another big challenge I have is that i still do not have enough funds for Proof of funds.

my questions are:
Do i stand a chance of getting application being recieved before the deadline?

Can I submit my application with proof of funds or less funds?

I am stuck on what to do.
