Hi forumites,

I would like to know the supporting documents and forms for spouse addition to fsw application.

In my case, I raised a CSE about my change in marital status in March but AVO hasn't responded. I recently got MR but nothing about spouse addition was mentioned.

I have raised another CSE and also sent an email about the change in marital status but no response still...

I would like to know the supporting documents and forms for spouse addition to fsw application.
IMM 0008,Schedule A/Background declaration form IMM 5669,Additional family information form,Fee payment form and fee.
Other doc Updated POF,Passport photo,Marriage cert(copy),Int'l Passport(Copy)

Hello Guys, guess what!
I received a multiple email today from AVO.
It was our MR!
My eardrums nearly broke when I told my wife over the phone......the scream was escatic.

Thanks to everyone for your support especially 'DEWASCO' for your precise prediction......uhmmm Octopus lomo.

Passport with Visa and COPR delivered.

PPR - 16th June, 2015
PP delivered to AVO - 19th June, 2015
Visa Issued - 26th June, 2015
Pickup mail - 2nd July, 2015
Passport delivered to my Lagos Address (DHL) - 8th July, 2015

The documents will finally get to me in the US on the 13th July, 2015.

For all those expecting one update or the other, it shall end in praise for y'all too in sha Allah

I was invited to partake in) - 2012

Quebec Skilled worker application filed in 2013. Withdrew application as
soon as I received MR for FSW 2014 application in 2015.

Nova Scotia Nominee Programme application filed in April 2014 but was
returned as it didnt meet the cap of 150 applications they wanted

FSW 2014 application filed - 17/07/2014 (filed two applications
- 2171 & 2174. 2174 was returned as it didnt meet the cap)

Application received at CIC - 23/07/2014

PER - 19/11/2014

CSE raised for newborn - Dec 2014

Feedback on CSE requesting documents for newborn
and payment of application fee within 60 days - 29/12/2014

Documents requested for newborn received at AVO - 9/02/2015

Instruction from AVO to pay revised application fee ($120 USD)
instead of $140 USD paid earlier for newborn - 9/03/2015

New draft for newborn raised, sent and received at AVO - 12/03/2015

Med/ RPRF/ PCC Request - 20/05/2015

Meds done - 22/05/2015

Copy of Meds payment receipt/ PCC for self and spouse/
RPRF receipt delivered to AVO - 27/05/2015

PPR/ Update of forms IMM5669/ IMM8 (I did not fill out
form IMM8 as my family configuration had not changed
I however, listed all members of my family; including me,
in the cover letter I attached - implying there wasnt any change) - 11/06/2015

Passports sent - 15/06/2015

Pick-up mail - 24/06/2015

Pick-up instruction issued at DHL - 25/06/2015

'Decision Made' status update on ecas - Thursday, 25/06/2015

Took delivery of passports with Visas/COPRs - 01/07/2015


I always attached a cover letter with my feedback to AVO every time they asked for updates.
I then followed up with an email to ACCRAIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca informing them
that the update they requested had been delivered to their office - AVO on confirmation of
delivery via the waybill

Admins please help update the spreadsheet.

djdy firstly i must congratulate U on your forthcoming wedding
1. About you getting married, there is nothing stopping you from going ahead, but You should take into consideration that immediately after the event you'll be having a dependant (Wifey), should U choose to take her along.
i. You'll need to raise a CSE to Accra sending scanned copied of the all nuptial documents (certificates, wedding pictures+IMM forms) etc, after the wedding. However since your wedding is in Sept. i am of the opinion that you might have concluded your MR before then, but i think you can send your update along with your Passport request.
ii. You will also need to upgrade your POF as well, at the moment POF for a double is 14,853 CAD, hope you can have that sorted after the wedding.

2. For the next mail from AVO, its almost here, since you are a Nov 12th, applicant you should expect your Medicals request mail in August, hopefully before second week, you might need a combination of PCC, POF, updated forms etc, this is however at AVO discretion.

From the look of things November applicant is likely to get MR by August.
If you get married before MR arrival, you need to notify AVO of your change in Status by uploading your Marriage certificate, picture of your wedding on CSE to Accra.
But if you get married after your MR, you will still need to notify AVO and this might slow down your application a little bit. You will need to fill another form IMM008, updated POF, IMM5669E for you and your spouse, your spouse birth certificate, Bio data page and payment of application fee $550 canadian dollar will be requested for your spouse

Thank you sir (tbaba) for the information. I was thinking of trying to do the wedding earlier so that i can meet up with the MR but logistics may not allow. Can i still upload my marriage certificate and pictures on CSE after i would have received MR by august as you have projected? Will my spouse receive her MR separately too because i haven't yet included her in my application? Pls how long will the delay likely be- 1 or 2 or 3 months?
Waiting for a mail can be quite frustrating atimes

From the look of things November applicant is likely to get MR by August.

You can update you application at any point before your PRV is issued, as tbaba had indicated it will slow down your process a lil bit as your wifey will be required to have her own MR done when you update the said information (this will be communicated to you by AVO).
Delay is however dependent on your response to their request, there is actually no defined period for this but i'm very optimistic you'll get your family's PRV before November.
Patience is the virtue you need, since you have waited this long, i'm know you can hold on a lil longer.
Trust me it'll all end in praise.
