Somehow I always assume that we all completed the application forms for FSW and kept soft copies of all we submitted. For me all I did was to go back to the soft copy of my Form IMM0008, updated the height of my kids, revalidated and printed. My cover letter to AVO stated that there's been no change in my family composition and that the only update to the form is the height of my kids. End of story.

If there's been no change in your family composition, I suggest you revalidate your form IMM0008 and reprint ... also state what you have done in your cover letter. Cheers.

Congrats to all with updates ... the AVO ministry is really moving!! :D
To our expectant friends, your story will be sweet in the end, AMEN!

Special Congrats to Ayoka, we have been waiting on you!!

Dotsngr I see you buddy ... I still dey house kampe.
General Johnson I salute you! Still looking up and out!

House,

Please must I fill IMM008 form again if when there is no change in my family composition ?

AVO said in their PPR mail as follows;

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTATION WILL BE REQUIRED TO ISSUE YOUR VISA:
☐ Updated family information: you must advise us of any change in your marital status or family composition. All family members must be listed on your IMM8 application form. Failure to comply may result in a delay in the issuance of your visa.

Good evening forumites. The lord has turned my frustration to joy o. My PPR majestically and miraculously popped in today while still on bed. Was a bit reluctant to check the mail so i wont loose the sleep so i slept off. Was woken up by a knock on the door and after attending to the person i decided to check the message that pooped in. Hmmm lo and behold the long awaited message came in exactly 8.02 am and when i tried opening it(hands shaking, heart pumping fast) i jst saw the first line that said visa appears ready. I was so happy that i almost summersaulted forgetting i get belle.

God said in his words that what so ever you ask in my NAME , i will do it. He did not answer me when i was relying on my power but when i gave up all and handed to him, he showed up. My advise to all awaiting members is that in the journey of life, at one point or the other, God tends to forcefully teach us patience which i must confess i have learnt in this journey.

I give all the glory to God almighty the beginning and the end , the one who can do all things and can bend protocols for our sake.
Also i appreciate all the forum members who at one point or the other been so worried about my case (pipi husband, fnb, royaldee, angel eyes, and how can i forget u oga bensonams for your encouraging words. May God bless you all. I know i must have skipped some names but pardon me, the memory thing comes with pregnancy. I appreciate you all.
the lord who did mine will definetly do for all awaiting one update or the other.

God is good and his mercy endureth forever. The dream of having my baby in canada is real now. Praise ye the lord.
A big congratulations to you dear. send your passport shaperly and start preparing for your passport pick up.

CSE and AVO email are one and the same :-*.They do respond to thier emails but at times it takes time. I have been using thier email to communicate with them since 2008.
My claim is not that they don't respond to mails sent to them. Response via the mail option is not as fast as that through CSE. That was my observation. I may be wrong anyways.

Congrats to all of my known and unknown friends with updates....I'm so happy for you all......
Just want to encourage others too whose updates has been seemingly delayed, just be calm, composed and positive....it will end well.
For some of us who are still hoping to join the queue of those expecting updates, something positive will come...
Like always said,as much as possible I try to get along with all posts and chats in all the whatsapp group(apologies for not always posting unless necessary :D)
I saw a post from an admirer of our thread on 2013 forum thread and felt like putting it for us all to think about it and possibly comment on it with no criticism to the poster....trust me,he/she meant well....

I am particular touched in my heart when I read the post over and over and over again.....
Find below the post....I might try to post it on the whatsapp chat groups for deliberations too.....
Cheers.

my fellow people.congrats to you all.we really have good brains here in this forum and other Canada related forums.been trying so hard to see if I can read all(don't think it s possible)but it s not easy at all.i must confess we are indeed blessed in this country(Nigeria)and we have good brains here.my fellow people why don't we try and look at ways of making this our country great just like Canada we are all running to.people made it that way and I m sure we ll all do that if we unite rather than going there to do menial jobs.i also read in this forum from Collins that said it might take an average of 2 to 5 years for one to get settled and all and this requires hardwork.my fellow people let s all unite and make this country great and beautiful just the way other oyinbo countries are.Belive me we ll all get there and sooner than you know it this forum will change to "Canadians that have applied for federal skilled workers in Nigeria"lots of young successful guys r really uniting to see a way of making this country great.hot brains like Andrew,Collins.Kaybb,Pipishusband, solomonthe great, etc.you can join the list of successful guys on fb and other social media to reason together to see how we ll make this country great just like othersrather than going there to do menial jobs.

The first thought that comes to my mind is "how did Nigeriagobetter become part of the thread?". What is his business with FSW 2014 Applicants if he's passionate about making Nigeria better? It's like a born again Christian going into a strip club to preach. :D

I speak for myself and myself only - I actually find his post void of substance! I won't waste my energy trying to give reasons why I'm leaving (the reasons are too many and he is probably one of them). The only thing I'll say is that he is free to laugh at me now for going to do menial jobs in foreign land ... and he's also free to laugh at me in the future when he and the successful men he mentioned have made Nigeria better! Cheers.

Not even sure where to begin. In my opinion, changing Nigeria can only happen by Divine intervention. The mindset of people in this county is beyond belief, and to think that these people are supposedly educated. We have a lot of educated illiterates in Nigeria, and how do you deal with these kinds of people?
I was away from Nigeria for decades, and for some reason, I bought the hype that things has gotten better in Nigeria. When I moved back to Nigeria, the people that know me well said I will not be able to live in Nigeria, but I argued. It didn't take long for me to see their point.
I am however thankful to God Almighty for the opportunity for my kids to see their roots. As far as I'm concerned, Nigeria needs to be left to those who want things to be the way it is. I am more than satisfied with my $10 per hour job o.

Nice one.....
I'll just appreciate us limiting this to constructive criticism so that we don't follow another part for discussion.
Trust me,you own nobody any explanation for desiring to move out....everybody have different reasons.
I love my country next to my heart-beat but its preposterous that we are having continuous exodus of brain exit out of the Country :-[
How can we help to make this country great
If we are given the chance, can we make things happen?
Do all of us still harbor the hope/notion of coming back to positively contribute to the development of Nigeria (however little)?
These and many more un-answered questions are the things that pricked my heart in the poster's comment.
Trust me,everybody seems to have the blue-print technology to make Nigeria great and better.....but how come none has ever make it possible?

Cheers.
