Don't judge by the number of naija on this forum bro...
In my small workplace alone I know 4 peeps that have submitted their applications and several others working on their IELTS and ECA... You can only imagine what might be happening elsewhere!

This is not judging by NIGERIA but globally sir.

Hey guys, this forum is just a little fraction of the many who are participating in FSW 2014 worldwide. So many people don't even know about this forum and you'll discover you don't hear from people in the other African countries. :
No Ghanaian related thread yet our Visa Office is in their country. You don't hear hear anything particularly from the East Africans, the Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians etc yet they are a large number of the people who regularly apply to FSW program.
Don't forget the almighty Chinese, they too apply in their huge numbers but we don't read from them. This forum is just a mini guide of what's going on and gives us an an idea of what's happening.
The important thing is we have applied, when we get to Canada, we can ask the others why they didn't use this forum. Cheers everybody.

Hey guy, you don't need to panic. What's your NOC? Some NOCs still did not get filled with 300 after one year on the 2013 FSW; Now its 1000 CAP per NOC for 8months period.
But don't be lazy, if you are on a HOT NOC, then you should be running faster than Usain Bolt with your application...lol.

At last CIC has updated the applications received thus far.
Some comparison with the link on capping in this forum(Warning to applicants-CIC numbers are at least 5 weeks back)

good day all, nice work guys. please I have a query and I need serious suggestions. I have over 7 years experience working in bank as a marketer. I also have an MBA and am only awaiting my ecas report which is due by the end of this month. am a bit confused about the best NOC to claim for my experience as it doesnt seem to fit completely to 1114 which seem to be my best option. knowing that marketing jobs in banks is basically to bring in money. please I will appreciate suggestions and inputs from members whether its worth fine tuning my experience more to meetup with the job description of the NOC.

This is absolutely not a true picture of reality. I think what has been updated are applications they received from May 01 to May 07. So the notion that CIC table is perpetually 6 weeks behind, holds true.

Hello pwetty, it would also help if we knew the dates when Nigerians' applications were recieved at CIC. Like when was your reived there and in what NOC? What's your mode of application fee, CC or DD?

I initially submitted my application for the FSW 2013 in February 2014 and it was returned on the basis of inadequate support for my job experience.
I realised it was the same for two other colleagues I knew who had applied.
From the timing in previous application
Delivered: 3rd March 2014
Treated: 4th March 2014
Returned (dispatched): 13th March 2014
