FSW 2014 applicants from Nigeria - Let's network

Hello ,
I am new here and wish i could get help with my FSWP application.Am a medical doctor from Nigeria.I did my IELTS in June 2014,I have my police report, am in the process of getting my ECA report from MCC and reference from my work place and I have alot of questions:
1,how do I start this application and which document or at what stage do I submit my application?
2,is there prototype for reference letter and to whom should I address it to?
Please,kindly direct me right.

Hello oscartan, perhaps you did not understand what you read. FSW 2014 is gazetted to end in April 2015 like previous editions of the programme. It runs in one year cycles or till total cap is reached. All those who apply in eligible NOCS which are not capped by April 2015 will be considered under FSW 2014 cycle just as all those who applied in 2014 but before May 1 2014 were considered under FSW 2013. A good example is our forum senior and fellow naija, kollins.

I have checked and you are very correct. I think I got confused by the statement "These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015".

Welcome on board, since you can start by studying sections of the guide.. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eg74, and download the application forms here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp.
Fill the forms. The necessary documents are described in the checklist.
Start filling the forms now and where you have any questions you can ask on this forum.
I have sent you a sample reference letter in a pm.

Unless another gazette comes out to counter the one above before end of the year,current stream ends by April 30th,2015.

Yea, thanks Kollins, i got that.
All the while I was thinking you applied under 2014 FSW, until I saw Pipis post moments ago. What happened, why the delay till almost end of the program before applying? Although I know there were very few responses on your NOC last year.

Hi, if the fact that you do full time work is indicated on the letter it might sail through and AVO may later seek clarification on it. Hope for the best, cheers.

None yet, the waiting game continues.
I guess AVO is focused on the backlog from 2011 and 2013 for now as those batches are experiencing MR rains. It's good sign as once that set is dealt with, they will face us squarely. NDVO is already issuing MR for 2014 batch, let's hope AVO catches up soon. At all, at all, naija no dey carry last

It's ok. That's what I did. Fixed my funds for one month. But the funds were clearly moved from another of my account to the fixed deposit account
