@Unibadan,mine is under review the last time i checked via GCMS in September 11th 2015, i ve ordered for another hoping to see some progress made.For all of us waiting for MR,its not the time to be downcast but to rejoice in anticipation of the rain that is about to pour.

Dear Forum members,

Please I need your advice.

My passports were received at AVO on March 29th. However, AVO sent a message on April 7th requesting for my spouse to provide RCMP certificate and finger print forms within 30 days. This was possibly because my hubby had spent about 4 months last year in Canada and he had a valid student visa and work permit in his passport which was sent to AVO. Anyway, we managed to do all that was necessary and the RCMP certificate got to AVO on May 2nd. Since then, we have been waiting for pickup mail. I sent a follow up email to AVO on May 6th providing proof of delivery of the original document (had already sent them an advance copy on April 28th pending receipt of the original and this was acknowledged) and seeking their prompt conclusion of the application and issuance of visas. Meanwhile, the medicals will expire on July 14th, 2016 so we have just 2 months to do the landing as airfares continue to increase in price. Will appreciate your guidance on what more I can do in these circumstances. Thanks in anticipation of your response.

I am grateful to the most high God...finally...finally we got our visas and COPR today,still like a dream.The journey has been a long one(29/05/2014) but the Lord has filled my mouth with praises,it has ended in praise.
I wish all awaiting applicant speedy response from AVO.Your updates will surely come,you just need the patience virtue in excess dose.
I want to thank the actives forum members,their updates kept my mind distracted during my waiting period.I use my visa and COPR has a point of contact to Avo for members waiting for one update or the other....a point of contact especially for DeeBruv,i don't know u on a personal level but i know how it feels to wait and wait,God ll touch your Application soon,mark it bro.

I will like to share my own timeline story with you guys maybe it will encourage you,I understand the emotions right now as no update,and prices of things are going up and we are worried about the next stage

From my timeline; app date is Oct 16th,charge date 27th Dec( a story for another day) PER 19th Jan, we added our baby last week in Jan 2015, fast forward to July when everybody around our timeline was receiving MR,no update.then they move to Nov applicant and then Dec and still no update.everyday was like a torment. Then Sept 1st,POF n 6month salary account came,then another round of waiting till Feb so I applied for GCMSnotes in Feb 15th and it came March 15th. Eligibility passed Security,Medical not started but I noticed an error in our notes as regards my daughter's name,so I emailed AVO cc my VO on 27th of March about this and immediately a response came acknowledging the error and that medical forms will be sent to me shortly...I was so happy about this.MR came in april visa was issued likewise inApril.

So the long and short of this story is that let's keep trusting God,when its the TIME everything will just work out quickly to our favour
