Good afternoon Forumites,

This place has been a blessing, I have been an avid reader for over a year. I just got my MR, and I felt i needed to share with the house that has taught me soo much about this process. I submitted my application on 9th November, got PER on 9th Feb then got my MR on August 13th, a day after I had my court wedding. Please I have some burning questions and I hope the more experienced seniors can be of help

Just checked my mail just now, and noticed that our MR was sent since 12pm today.

Pls I need the assistance of seniors....
My passport and that of my wife expires in sept 2015 although we have renewed them a month ago, at what stage can I inform AVO? No other request but the MR was sent today.

Kindly note; that you are required to book an appointment before coming. Please choose a suitable date from Monday to Thursday aside public holidays and weekends and revert within 48 working hours for booking.

We would appreciate you provide us with following details for booking:

IME number: (This is obtained when you have summited your application at the Canadian Embassy or online; if not; kindly indicate )
Passport number:
Visa type:

Telephone number :
Also note the following;
You will be also required to come along with your deposit slip, Original international passport or the certified copy by the embassy and any available recent medical reports.
Your medical report will be forwarded by the panel physician to the embassy via the electronic e-medical platform.
The amount payable is 28,000 for adults 15yrs and above, 20,000 for applicants 11 to less than 15yrs, 16,000 for applicants 5 to less than 11yrs, 15,000 for applicants 0 to less than 5yrs. All values are in Nigerian Naira.
You are required to pay into our account at standard chartered bank with details in the attached information sheet.

hi guys please help. My bro inlaw got an email from cic today saying that his application has been refused because they did not receive the additional documents that were requested from him within the time frame given. when in actual fact, he did send them and it was received and signed for before the time elapsed. He is so confused right now, and this is after he had done MR and paid for RPRF o. He has sent the documents back and also raised cse too and also a print out copy of when the initial documents were sent and received. So will like to know what else he can do....pls seniors in the house.

Congratulations. Good to know that December has started. AVO, please don't forget our brothers and sisters that submitted before December who are yet to receive their MRs.
