Hi All,

I have received PER on 20th Jan 2015 and its been 5 months havent heard anything from LVO.

My Timeline :-

App send - 17thOct 2014
CC - 20th Dec
PER - 20th Jan
Waitng for AOR/MR.... 5 months now :(

Can anyone please give me suggestions on what should be done next.

I have applied from UK and LVO is my visa office.

They are ridiculously slow :(

Please share any thoughts on this......

from what i read here...it takes 5-6 months for SLU after PER....just be patient...that will come!

There are many applicants who had selected SGVO as their their original VO. However due to heavy workload SGVO transferred some files to MANILA VO. Applicants whose files were transferred to MANILA VO lets connect here and share our timelines, views and thoughts. let's see what is the current Status of the MANILA VO.
Lets work together in making our Dreams come true.

Note: I would like to suggest those who are waiting for long time to raise a CSE regarding his/her current Visa Office. In my case I found my VO transferred to MANILA from SGVO after raising the CSE. As different visa office works differently, I think this will be very helpful if you know in advance which visa office is processing your file.

Hi Guys
want your response. What are the job prospects for Electrical Engineers?
Can electrical engineers work in Canada without certification and exams under the supervision of professional engineer?
What will be the pay of trainee/supervised engineer?
How much is the difference between a licensed engineer pay and non licensed?
What other options/careers electrical engineer has if he remains unable to get license?
Your response is highly appreciated.

ECAS changed to Decision Made.

How are you people searching for jobs ??

I have 5 years experience in a design consultant company.

I am an 2133 applicant from UK and LVO is my VO.

I have just received a SLU and that is after roughly 7 months. :)

What I also notice that the SLU date is before the PER Email date.

App send - 17thOct 2014
CC - 20th Dec
PER - 20th Jan
SLU - 26th August ( mentioning that "We started processing your application on January 12, 2015.")

Any senior member please let me know whether the SLU is an update from CIC or the LVO.

Also last month we have been blessed by a daughter and can anyone please share me the email address in where in need to send the soft copy of the letter, explaining the changes.

Thanks in advance.

Please, can somebody give me some explanation about the LMIA document. My husband is electrical engineer, and got a job offer from a company, and they are willing to do all the LMIA process.

My question is next: Would there be any problem about the LMIA, considering the fact that this is licensed profession.

(He can not apply and obtain a license, because he is not currently living in Canada? Moreover, for the electrical engineer license he needs one year Canadian experience under supervision.)

Thanks in advanced.

I'm sharing my timeline to those NOC2133 waiting for updates, especially with Manila VO.

*in calendar days

I have added my spouse into my file and the additional documents/spouse questionnaire form with
answers were received by Manila VO last July 13th. I received no update since then.

So, how are the job opportunities for NOC2133 these days in Canada now that the news about
the recession in Canada is circulating around the world?

its true, i verified it with my relatives in canada and its on RECESSION.

the good this is electrical trades are not affected...we are safe...

Im done with medicals and waiting for PPR (hopefully).
