I just checked eCAS today and I got the 3rd line update, exactly a week after completing my medical exam.

I was a bit worried going into the clinic for my medicals last week because I felt that it was not the best time for me to take the medicals.
There was no physical activity for me this past few weeks to a month then I just came from a whole week of vacation away from the city
where I just eat and sleep most of the time. haha

To make things worse, I even had a wound at my foot that caused me limping my way going into the clinic.
The doctor noticed it so I had to explain what happened. I really felt that I was at my worst condition for the medical exam.
Thankfully, I passed in all aspects of the medical exam. I also took the MMR vaccine.

Thanks to God almighty.

Hello fellow Engineers,

Can anyone advise or comment on the job market for Electrical Engineers?
Like whats the pay scale? Whats the minimum time in which an engineer finds a job?
Are there any recruitment agencies or something?

Do engineers (electrical) require any additional certifications or courses to be done?

Please advise. And which is a potential industry in the Electrical like - Power Systems (HV/MV/Substations) or Low Current Systems / Security Systems like BMS, FAS, CCTV, IPTV?

Is there any particular format for CV.

I have following time line

Application received by CIC: 20th Aug'14
PER: 9th Dec'14
AOR: 16th Jan'15

After that there is no update. What should I do now? Experts Please advise me. My NOC: 2133. Applied from Bangladesh. Visa office Singapore. Should I go for GCMS notes?

Just wanted to know why city/province are you interested in settling? You all must have done your homework on it?
I will be going to Edmonton/Alberta, ive heard its a good place for Electrical Engineers, plus since i am interested in doing masters, so the UoA there has a very fine reputation. Other good places for Electrical Engineers ive heard of are Calgary and Vancouver.

Also does any one have any idea if Permanent Residents require IELTS for getting admission in Masters Program?

I plan to settle in Calgary, Alberta with my wife next year as I am still waiting for PPR, medicals completed and received last May 2015 for me as PA.
I added my spouse to the application to we are waiting for the spouse's MR + RPRF too.

Please share your research about the job market for 2133 in Edmonton and in Alberta, in general.
And also about taking post-graduate education too. I was told that universities/college may or may not require English language proficiency result for admission.
You should be able to verify the language requirement from the school you intend to take the course.
