Still try to submit. But keep a duplicate copy of all docs you submitted. I just sent my application last week and keeping all my hopes high. We will never know.

Goodluck to all

Looking at the CAP figures, it seems to be a tough fight, but you never know......i wish may you get lucky.

Do send the application & All the best!

Yep! Better try and still have a back up plan.
Anyway, What does the 'complete application' means in the cic website. When is the completeness check done by cic? Is it after CC charge? Or right after they receive our application? TIA

application received==> completeness check ==> charging ==> eligibility review ==> per or ner

Do they charge immediately after Completeness check? or charging will be done once they check eligibility?

Charging is done once we comply with the minimum 67 points requirement. PER is received after that. Charging of cards or dd does not really mean that one will get a PER. There are people eho have received NER after getting the cc/ dd charged.

So if my application was received but CC not yet charged .. I might be under "Pending Applications" ?

thanks but this does not mean that whoever is not charged is not in pending, right?
I mean if I am not charged, I may be counted withing "pending column", because I might have passed "completeness check".

what is average time between completeness check and charging?

Praise God Almighty ;)

Honestly speaking, please go for NOC 2241. Its risky to apply in 2133.

After your fees are debited, officer at CIC goes through it and take a decision on number of points you will have based on eligibility criteria.

If you are 67 or plus its fine you will get Positive Evaluation Report and file goes to respective VO for further processing.

In case you dont have 67 points (or they think that you dont have) file comes back and its NER.

Hope it helps you...
