Hello friends,

I applied under NOC 2133 category and my application was received by CIC on June 4.

Can anyone has idea how long it takes to receive a response from CIC?

You need to wait alteast 2 more weeks to get any response from CIC.. That will be in the form of email if you have provided one!

Good to know that this thread exists.
I am also planning to apply in this category by 20th Sept.

I want to ask a very important question regarding NOC tpye.
Need to complete my schedule 3 form.

I did my B.E Electronics (Graduated 2011) 4 years
My work experience as a "Circuit Design Engineer/Electronics Research Engineer" NOC category (2133) is 1 year 1month (work experience gained in my home country) after graduation.

Then from April 2013 till now (1 year 4 months), I am working in the middle management category as an "Project Engineer/Operations Supervisor" for an oil and gas company engaged in retail business. (client meetings,follow ups,quotations,invoicing,commissioning on field, inventory/stock management etc etc)

SO which CATEGORY IS BEST FOR ME TO APPLY?
PLEASE SUGGEST.

I need 2 years of experience to achieve my points total of 68!

Hello mga kabayans.. Can you please share kung may NOC 2133 na dito na approved na ng CIC for processing? How long will CIC give a notification as to whether the submission is successful for processing or not? Tsaka abot pa ba kaya yung documents ko kase ngaun lang dumating sa Nova Scotia.

I am NOC 2133, and it took 107 days to get the CC charged.... and now 2 weeks to PER and so on

I beg to differ....you have an option to select NDVO.

Cic guide clearly mention to either select country of residence (incase of ME its LvO) or country of citizenship (for us NDVO).

Me also in ME. N selected NDVO.

What job responsibilities instrumentation engineer can put in employer reference letter as all duties mentioned in electrical & electronics category (NOC2133) are related to electrical & electronics engineering like below:-

8) Worked as a sub-lead engineer
9) Planning & scheduling of entire boiler project & BOP in MS Project.
10) Listing of various risks & opportunities.
11) Project Co-ordination with internal team of engineering, procurement & construction as well as with customer.
12) Preparation of monthly progress report.
13) Periodic cost review for cost over runs/ savings.
14) Handling commercial as well as logistics issues
15)Cable Route index.
16)Instrument Location Layout.
17)Termination diagrams in Intools-Wiring Module.
18)Preparation of Junction Box Schedule.
19)Preparation of Cable Schedule

How I can match these job responsibilities with NOC2133 job duties mentioned above? Can you all guide me?
