but i think this doesnt count as professional experience as an engineer...
u can better choose some other NOC.

I dont think theres any problem with that. Some of the job duties matche with NOC 2133. I think adding a couple of more matching duties would make his ref letter acceptbale!

I received my WES ECA and the result for my Bachelors degree is diploma for 3 years. With that, I guess I should apply for NOC 2241 Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians even though my title is an Engineer. My responsibilities resembles 4 out of 6 2241 main duties...

What do you think?

Hello Friends my categories falls under 2132 and 2133 both. So which is more preferable to apply? 2133 gets filled earlier? I am planning to apply in July. Would all caps be filled roughly by then? I know its impossible to get exact numbers but any rough idea will help me to look into my application for July.

in my experience letter if designation mention is "General Electronics Engineer". But on CIC website NOC 2133 dosn't have this designation.
Please advice that should i request to employer that just mention Electronics Engineer. or General Electronics Engineer is ok.
as in my residence visa General Electronics engineer is mentioned.

I am filling 5. Schedule 3 Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] (PDF, 661 KB) May 2013 form on my own without consultant.
can you please share your experience filling the question no. 12. Work Experience.
Can I mention as below:
Occupation:- Control System Engineer

however, all my past posts are like Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer like that....means my occupation and responsibility matches 'control system engineer'....but my post mentioned in words is different....

can i do this? or i must mention sr. project engineer only.......in this case this is not mentioned under 2133.....

so, i am very much confused....Kindly help all frnds...pls....

Instrumentation engineer is fine for 2133

project engineer/ Sr project engineer is also fine, if your reference letter contains the activities of control and Instrumentation activities. This is purely my opinion. I could be wrong.

My opinion is designation do not have to match exactly.

only the activities you perform need to match the descriptions given by CIC by 70 - 80%.

Should I have to submit the experience certuficate from my previous employer also with job profile even if I was working in deferent profiles. Plz advice. Or just mention in activities and not in form .

You can submit the reference letters for the points you are claiming and also if the older profile do not match with 2133 activities, no need to submit reference letter. However submit all contract and relieving letters from old employer (all copies)

Bro no one knows when the cap will get filled. Just try to get all the docs as soon as possible!
I am also in the process of gathering docs.

But one thing is for sure that Electrical Engineers were not prepared for this unlike Civil and mechanical bcoz NOC 2133 has opened after a considerable gap!
