they give me a specific date on 8 DEC 2014.

on that day, they are gonna ask me whether i had criminal history or pending charges. etc

And probably i will be given the COPR to check and sign...

However, the point is my passport is at Singapore now and i havent got it back yet. i am so confused now.

What is landing interview bro? Do you mean you have to travel to singapore to attend the interview or in Canada? Btw has your ecas been updated?

The main point is my passport is at Singapore now. They need me to bring the passport along with me on that day in Canada. :-[

Still it seems not clear. Where you gonna attend interview? In canadian high commission in dhaka or in SGVO or on the point of entry to Canada? Is it regular process for all applicant?

I think since you are already in CA, CIC omits the step of sticking visa but a final interview instead. If this is true, SGVO will send your passport back to you asap. Maybe it's already on the way.

In feb I get the following reply from SGVO

The Singapore visa office has been allocated a large Federal Skilled Worker target in 2014 which will help us to put hundreds more cases into process

And later i interpreted the following based on data

all pre-2013 cases i.e 234 pending cases will be processed in 2014 (as SGVO processed 643 cases last yr) and another 400 cases which is 80% of the applications submitted in Jan-Sep time frame will be processed in 2014.

Now as we are close to 2014 end, I think my conclusion was not correct. Considering SGVO was truly allocated a large FSW target, I believe, SGVO is processing 2014 applicants to meet that target. i just heard a rumor ( again say a rumor from a guy so can not confirm anything) one 2014 FSW application got MR!!

May be files/individuals required more time in background check are being pushed behind and individual requiring less or minimal background check are pushed forward.

Can anybody say what really happen during Background check and is there any reason for lengthy background check like frequent travel, job switch, big family?

Congrats!!! Can please inform if the status DM came in just one month time from the date sgvo rcvd ur pp. As per vfs tracking my docs n pp were rcvd by sgvo on 12th nov, so expecting an update by 12 dec. thank u

Sorry I did not know FSW 2014 already got MR and PP request. I was kind of absent here. :-[
So why we FSW13 are struggling. is it because of unlucky "13"?
