Observation:

Dear buddies, what I have observed for the last week- Singapore has progressed lots of file on last week....

Below is a calculation :

MI-2 : total 4 applicants's ECAS updated, One MR+PPR, One applicant's query for additional docs.

MI-3 : 1 Applicant's (2012) MR , 1 applicants's (2012) ECAS updated, 1 applicant's (2012, arranged employment offer category) has rejected and ECAS -decision made.

So total 9 applicant's news on a single week....

But the better thing is that they have started the files of 2012 along with 2011....:)

For the last 1.75 yrs- I have seen the most pace from SGVO...I really wish they will continue it....

In our forum there are hardly 15 more applicants whom are active from MI-2 and MI-3.....If the pace is continued then----- all of us know what will happen........:D :D ;)

In shah Allah we all 2013 applicants will receive MR, by the end of this year and then we 2014 people will be next!

Now that is a very good news, brother. I do hope so. Thank you very much for keeping us updated.

out of curiosity, what's MI 2 and MI 3 application? those were skilled migration as well? why those are termed as such?

thanks, Ashif...

in your cover letter, you mentioned address of visa office as robinson road with p.o. box 845,

but, in your reply here, you metioned different courier address.

well, i know po box is not for courier address.

but, if i want to send govt. regular mail service (not courier), then, which address shall i send to? robinson road with po box? or one george street?

Its Ministerial Instruction -MI.

MI-2 was the FSW opening - Jul 10- Jun 11
MI-3 was the FSW opening - Jul 12- Jun 12
MI-8 was the FSW opening - May 13-Apr 14
MI-12 was the FSW opening - May 14-Apr 15

Each of the FSW is covered by a set of MI...

Here is a link for MI :

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/mi/

I hope this clears...:D

BTW Bro Ashif, where did you find the status update of those MI applications ? I would like to give you some helps monitoring those updates :D. Do you think they might start processing FSW 2013 and 2014 at the same time just like they are doing for 2011 and 2012 ?

An Error Has Occurred!
Sorry, you can't repeat a karma action without waiting 168 hours. :D

Frankly I do not think that there is any standardization on how SGVO does the application. Some are processed faster some are slower. Chatted with my colleague today and found out his bro-in-law migrated to Vancouver 3 years ago, he was a MI-2 applicant!

There are seriously far too many people who applied for migration to Canada but do not come here to post about it. Most I know only waited for like at most 2 years, why is it that we are only reporting MI2 and MI3 applicants here?

Is it really that long? I am just curious, since other VO are processing at a much faster rate than us. Just saying, it really doesn't make sense to only study the statistics here...
