FSW 2013 SINGAPORE VISA OFFICE - LET'S CONNECT HERE

Hi Brotheer Ashif, so you (your wife) have applied for a second application ? Do you know where they (CIC) made their promise processing time for FSW 2013 (and/or 2014) would be within a year ? I just want to check when is the starting time of the process, is it the time when the program is started (highly unlikely), PER is sent to a person, file is transferred to local VO or when the application is opened. Because checking http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp#asia, the "Processing Times IN MONTHS for applications received" by our visa office SVO, is 28 months so I understand that 28 months duration is started at the time our applications are transferred to SVO, not PER. That's meant the processing time is still not reached 1 year for your case. Just my concern.


Edit: just checked your timeline, your app was transferred to SVO on Aug 23rd, so it is almost a year . Perhaps we should give them couple of more months, say, 2 or 3 .

That is quite thought provoking. I have got an idea. Can we all draw the attention of Attorney David Cohen on this to do/say something? His opinions have weight.

I recall that, in 2008, CIC suddenly decided not to process thousands of applications in an attempt to flush out the backlog problem that had existed. At first, they sent mails to individual applicants which had this basic message: "It will take months before we are able to process your application. Are you still interested? If not, then please let us know and we will refund your money." Some asked for refunds and got so. Those who decided to continue on eventually faced this: "Due to a huge backlog, we are unable to process your application. We give up. Whether you like it or not, here is your money back."

Today, that is history. But still that nightmare from 2008 haunts me. I worry about having to face the same nightmare from SGVO. We need to be vocal.

I thinking is similiar to u. Finally they may say that we r not able to handle such number of applicants under SGVO. Cant think anything.

Several times I told, If the process runs in this way we may not able to get visa by next 50 years.........

This waiting destroying me & my family. Very very bad in deed & unfortunate. Really Depressed.

A short news:


During FSW13 opening, after long waiting (since last time FSW was closed on 2012) I have applied on the very first day (May 04,2013) on NOC 2147. But unfortunately after waiting over 15 months my file is not having any satisfactory update or finishing. Still no trace when Singapore VO will start to send Medical request to its first FSW13 applicant. Max VO has already finished or in process to be finished FSW13 files very soon.

Since my wife is on US (for higher studies purpose) for last couple of years, I attempted to apply on last year to apply for second application package with the NOC 2132, but restricted myself for the CIC commitment that they gonna finish FSW13 files within a year....Alas, they cheated with us...

I was continuing my waiting that SGVO will send some good news within a few days.....But thing is not changing...waiting without any hope...without any trace...

Finally applied as spouse on NOC-2132 (Mechanical Engineer) today with the visa office of CPC-O. Hope this time God will not frustrate me....File should be reached on 8th Aug 2014....

My presence on your prayer is highly expected...

I have some proposal to get attention from SGVO and immigration minister of Canada.

1. We the applicants will gather together and meet Canadian High Commision in Bangladesh and hand a letter to him/her on behalf of us stating the discrepancy doing by SGVO to us, also informing the miseries of us for this.
2. The letter will be signed by the FSW applicants who are on waiting for long time.
3. We can include the promise of the Minister made before with it.
5. We aslo include other VO's Status for a clear vision.
4. We will then request the High commisioner to convey our message to the immigration ministry of Canada and to the SGVO.
5. We also can inform our foreign ministry (BD) about this and request them to act on it.

If you guys are agree with this proposal please do this movement to get some movement from their part. I expect experts opinion like Ashif vai, Alamgir vai and others.. Thank you...

Its a bit debating proposal brother...

It may have positive resultant temporarily.... but on some other respect it can also impact this region's applicants on a larger behalf...

Everything is just my assumption...
